About
Enjoying a stunning rural location beside a lake, this hotel is built in typical Andalusian style with a charming outdoor terrace, refreshing swimming pool and great restaurant. Make your holiday an adventurous one and stay active and outdoors while enjoying the sunshine that Andalusia enjoys most of the year. You can take to the waters by sailing on the lake. The Caserío de Iznájar is basically on an island with various bridges crossing over the lake to the mainland. After soaking up the Andalusian sunshine, take a refreshing swim in the Caserío de Iznájar’s outdoor pool. Dine in typical Andalusian style in the Caserío de Iznájar’s authentic, elegant restaurant which serves tasty dishes typical to the area. You can enjoy your meal outside on the terrace with views over the surrounding countryside and famous olive groves. The recently renovated hotel enjoys a design with Moorish influences. You can admire pretty arches, white-washed walls and large windows which create cool and sunny interiors.

Pros +
- lovely location and staff.
- The staff is attentive and is willing to help the guests at any moment. The rooms are spacious enough, while the beds are very comfortable. There are parking spaces just outside the hotel to park your car, without having to go any further. The breakfast is nice (there are both sweet and savory options) and is served in a lovely patio.
- great breakfast, beautiful venue, rooms were clean and spacious, staff was helpful and kind
Cons -
- a bedside light on both sides of bed
- I did not not fancy the restaurant. You need a car to go get around. A sleepy town if not in seasons.
- Nothing really.

Beautiful location with a view over the reservoir and town. Lovely room. Excellent evening meal and breakfast
Nice pool with sunbeds and possibilities for shade. Beds and bathrooms was more than axpected for this price. Parking and WiFi was free.

Little old fashioned but large well fitted rooms with good views. Good breakfast and dinner in warm, covered quadrangle.
Nothing really.
A good breakfast, always a bonus when included in the price of the room.
Hot water for showers not good.
Fantastic view Beautiful place Great value
No dinner or food from 16.00 to 20 hours Very hungry when we arrived but overall excellent value and definitely would be back
* Room: the same one I stayed in last time and delighted to have it again. So comfortable and clean* Staff: exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for them* Location: Beautiful views and close to beach * Garden: will hold a special place in our hearts forever
* Weather was a bit chilly and found the temperature a bit cool in the hotel and room (although there was a heater). Note to self - pack warmer clothes* Only staying 2 nights: so wish we had booked longer
Good accommodation at an excellent price. Lovely building surrounded by superb scenery. Helpful and friendly staff.
Breakfast was not elaborate but perfectly fine. Dinner was poor.
Nice views from the pool terrace of the town and castle up the hill. Probably the best hotel and restaurant in town, beautiful decor. Very pretty building.
Really enjoyed our stay! Nice pool, nice view, beautify courtyard!
The hotel is not actually in Iznajar but on the other side of the reservoir which, though theoretically the largest in Andalucia, was operating at only 15% capacity. The views both towards it and from it were therefore not quite what one might have expected. But the hotel itself was very attractive with a roomy and well-appointed dining room and comfortable first floor bedrooms with good bathrooms. The staff was clearly kept very busy but, despite that, were friendly and efficient. Bar and supper were all that they should have been and the town of Iznajar was well worth the morning spent there. We made no use of the pool but it looked decorative and well-maintained!
The hotel itself is absolutely lovely inside. The decor is very nice and there's a feeling of roominess. The dining room is large and spacious, but the dining chairs could do with some cushions. The food in the evening was delicious, breakfast less so, but adequate. The pool is small but there were plenty of sunbeds, and the view are gorgeous. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This hotel has the potential of being outstanding.
We were in a double room, so 2 people. The bedroom was big but it could not have been more basic. The beds had very old springs, squeaking with every movement. There was only 1 wooden chair, nowhere to sit for 2 people, and nowhere comfy. There was 1 very cheap plastic cup in the bathroom, not 2, and no glass in sight. No hairdryer, no iron, no water nor welcome snacks, no rug on the tiled floor, only 3 hangers.....The worst, however, was only 1 bedside table and no bedside lamps. With very little thought and care, this hotel could be magnificent. Come on, management, sort it out.
It’s old world charm great views its laid back surroundings. The staff are very helpful and always willing to help with any want or info . It makes just want unwind and recharge your batteries We will be going back next year for more of the same
They do need some new parasols
The peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, delicious food
You could hear every noise from other areas in your room
Lovely staff, beautiful location, offering from the terrace restaurant was absolutely superb with a great setting. The accompanying cat was also a great value cutey.
The ambient noise from adjacent room doors was a bit much if you’re not an early riser - not an issue if you’re hitting breakfast for the 8.30am kick off.
Great building, friendly staff, superb views and excellent food. Only 10 -15 minutes from the A92.
Very little any criticism would be trivial eg could have done with a light outside the room.
Caserio de Iznajar was an amazing experience.Beautiful location with stunning views and lovely staff. We felt like home away from home.
Everything was perfect,we didn't have any issues and we had a great experience.
Good location by the lake and nice terrace.
The air con in the room was noisy and not very strong for v hot days.
