Hotel Golden Eagle

Very interesting old time look but still it has all modern stuff. Renovated room in old fashion design with modernbathroom. Very welcoming, nice and friendly receptionist.

The hotel is located rather centrally, it's easy to find and to get to. Private hotel parking is nearby, as well as plenty of public street parking lots. Our room was on the third floor / attic - somewhat hidden, over a set of stairs from the second floor. The building is old and projects its rich history, but is kept in a great shape. The garden looks great, having the breakfast with the view of all that green is amazing. The breakfast itself was rather good. The staff is great - loved that we could communicate in Hungarian with some of them -, and the rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, and clean.

No issues there at all, it's just nitpicking from this point on.The coffee for the breakfast was surprisingly good in spite of the fact that it was brewed by a semi-automatic, self-operated machine - but I do love a good espresso in the morning, so I'd have preferred a professional machine there.We initially parked in front of the hotel - to get back to the private parking that the hotel has there is a few minutes of driving because of the one-way streets.

In general, the hotel met my expectations. A great plus came from Niki, the receptionist, who sent a package from Slovakia to Italy for me and was very kind in fulfilling this request. A premium service for something that was absolutely not required.

The comfort of the room could be improved. I had to unplug the coffee machine to be able to plug in more than one electronic device. Nothing dramatic, but it's an improvement that could be made (for example, by adding a power strip, or even redoing the electrical system)

The breakfast was nice and the staff as well.

I didn't like the fact that there are bugs crawling on the curtains and ceilings which makes me uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep. Staff mentioned that they are aware of those bugs but didn't do anything on first day. The next day when I reported it again then they gave me a smaller room. Not worth but then It was my last day at the hotel and I didn't have any other choice.

We stayed 3 in one room, which was biiiig enough, sofa, fotel, a large bed, where we slept with our 4 years old kid and it was convenient.In the price included was the breakfast in an amazing winter garden ? we loved it.I can just totally recommend this hotel.The stuff was also really kind and helpful.

In the shower there was broken the shower-holder and we could not set the height of it, but it's not a big thing ?

Surprisingly nice hotel in the middle of Levice. VERY nice staff in general, especially the receptionist with excellent English. Beautiful inner garden, cozy bars, nice breakfast area. Fantastic breakfast too. Good working air-condition. Fells like you never want to leave.

We liked everything

Easy to find, room was nice and spacious. Parking in front of the hotel in the street free of charge. Park and green area nearby to walk dogs. AC was working quite well. Bed was confortable. They only allow small dogs, but they made exceptions for us as we arrived late. Dog fee was quite high 25 per dogs (I had 2 dogs) and dos not include nothing for dogs. Old vibe hotel.

Breakfast was nothing special and rather poor.

Nice and quiet hotel with a very good location in the heart of Levice. Stuff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and excellent with comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Varied breakfast, good start of the day. It was a really great surprise that we got welcome drinks. We also tried the restaurant which is superb and has a charming garden area. The food was outstanding, really delicious, do not miss it if you stay in this hotel.

Excellent location, the room was very nice and cozy .We were really happy that they spoke English and Hungarian very well!!!

25€ fee for dog is extremely high in my opinion, especially because there is no bowl for the dog in the room or treat either so no service for him and they would clean the room the same way anyway (if dog hair is the only reason for the fee)

Comfortable, clean hotel with very good service.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, it was clean and comfortable. We stayed in room 301 for 3 people, it is located in the atic (3rd floor)and we only had 1 neighbouring room. There is an elevator going up to 2nd floor, and then we had to walk up,but it was ok. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

On Friday night there was a wedding downstairs and music played very loud until 1.30am or so ...it was hard to sleep.

Hotel in a historic tenement house, in the city center. Varied breakfasts and a very good restaurant on site. Very good service, helpful staff.

Our small dog cost 25eur per night, this should be declared right on the site. This is such nonsense, there was no service for the dog, it is just punishment for people that have dogs...

Beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated. Staff super friendly. We got a welcome drink and used sauna, that was free. Tasty breakfast. We loved the hotel and the atmosphere. Location perfect too.

Classic old hotel on the central square. Large stylish conditioned room with 4m high ceiling. Great comphy bed. Super-nice armchair + couch. Very nice light with plenty of options. Good restaurant.

Amazing hotel, beautiful historical design, direct in city centre. modern bathroom thou, sparking clean. Very good bed, crispy bedding, especially likes the book shelf. Very good breakfast, lovely garden area.. Nice friendly staff. Parking possible in front of the hotel. Loved everything.
