Hotel Glaus

Every staff person we encountered was friendly, helpful and attentive. The accommodation was excellent, well-equipped and much roomier than we anticipated. The hotel and grounds were very well maintained and the environment was inviting and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good as was the service. The location is well situated - very central but quiet and peaceful.

The only thing I can think of, was the food and coffees could have been a bit hotter when served. Everything else was terrific.

Great location and nice patio with best views of the city in town. Exceptionally friendly and very helpful staff. Excellent restaurant (2 of the best dinners we had on our 3 week trip).

Our room was situated on the second floor with a view of the beautiful town. It was roomy, comfortable and cosy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a short walk to the town centre. There was free parking on site. A lovely property for a weekend break.

Super friendly staff and Good location - short walking distance to city centre. Room was well equipped and clean. Very comfortable bed. Next time we would like to stay longer.

Great view and excellent location. The staff were very nice and helpful. There was a wide selection of delicious à la carte breakfast options.

We loved this hotel. We had he best view of the historic town, beautiful and comfortable room in a historic hotel. Very friendly staff. Very quiet. Good breakfast. It was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

This was not a negative for us, but may be for guests with limited mobility. There is no elevator, and there are steps from the parking lot above the hotel.

We were offered an upgrade to a large suite which was greatly appreciated. Free parking, comfortable bed and pillows, wonderful restaurant with delicious food. Great staff, especially Mikhal who checked us in, helped with bags, offered a choice of several rooms, explained everything and made us feel welcome

There are a lot of stairs! We didn’t realise how many when booking. Even if your room is on the first floor (ours wasn’t!), there are stairs from the parking and the hotel entrance. This was not communicated

The location was excellent. We managed the parking with our van which was great. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great.

It was noisy at night with people coming in at different times. It would be good if there were signs to remind people to be quiet going up the stairs during quiet hours. We were woken 4 times and we weren’t even close to the stairs.

Very nice old hotel well located in the beautiful old town. Staff were great. We had a rental car so we were able to park in secure parking area.

LOVED THE PLACE. Very charming, in a beautiful town, with a great view of the town castle. The Staff was very helpful and welcoming, the room was very confortable. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent. If i had the chance i would totally stay again in this place.

Beautiful building, good location, friendly staff

Hot room - and we could not open the windows at night due to a loud A/C unit directly above our room (our room did not have air conditioning, only the rooms on the top floor). Staff was trying to be helpful, thought, but could not do much.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a good location with parking available. Our room was nice for the one night we had there. Also nice to have the bar and restaurant on site

We loved our stay here! The locations is absolutely perfect. The rooms are very nice, staff friendly and rooms spotless. We also ate at the restaurant several times and the food was wonderful. The only issue we had is parking can be a little difficult. Otherwise, exactly as pictured in hotel website.
