Quality Hotel Skifer

The employees were extremely nice and helpful. The restaurant was good. The steam room and sauna were nice. The public areas were very nicely decorated and comfortable.

The showers could have been a litte bigger, but it wasn't bad.

Great location, good breakfast, very helpful and kind staff. The rooms are a little worn, but clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to many grocery stores and you can get whatever you need from there. Also close to the start of several nice hiking trails and very close to the train station (only a 4 minute walk).

At the time, the elevator did not work for 1-2 days which was a bit inconvenient. Note that laundry services are not available, but there is an iron.

The hotel itself was OK. The charge for parking was a rip-off! Should be a discount for guests at least.The room was scruffy and lacking any kettle or bottled water. All drinks had to be bought.Dinner and breakfast was good.Nice reception area.

There were a choice of eating places near the hotel. The bed was very comfortable.

The toilet seat in our room was broken. There were quad-bikes and custom-cars racing around the resort and car-parks until very late in the night - meaning we had to keep the windows closed to try to shut out the noise.Breakfast the next morning was a scrummage - with large coach parties of guests. Just one coffee machine, which broke down and the member of staff trying to fix it didn't have a clue. Tip for hotel: get a second coffee machine, and have a member of staff at breakfast whose main job is to keep the coffee machines working. Otherwise, the choice at breakfast was really good.

Excellent place to stay overnight during a road trip. It offers great value for money compared to, for example, staying in Trondheim; the town itself has everything you need, and nice nature is around the corner.

It was good. Nice warm food and good selection of foods.The hotel was nice and without noise, no parties at the ground floor, unlike last year.

They should clean the rooms every second day. The hotel is a bit boring for children. The play room is a joke, not much to do inside the hotel except lounging in the bar area.The restaurant offers few options outside burger and pizza concept. That is a bit sad, since Skifer resturant is the only in Oppdal that tried to excel above the kebab\pizza\burger\ tasteless pasta level all the other resturants in Oppdal are at,Except perhaps for the resturant at the Touristhotel. The ski area has too few slopes for beginners.

Very nice, spacious, clean room with great view. Comfortable bed . Breakfast buffet was great

Hotel is located quite close to the Dobrefjell National Park
