Jackson's Hotel & Leisure Centre

Great stay at Jackson,s. Lovely room, plenty of amenities.Great price. We had a meal and some drinks in bar. Both very good and well priced. Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel was great, comfortable rooms,beautiful food,great pool and staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Nothing everything was fantastic .

Staff are very friendly and chatty especially to the boys who love a chat! Hotel is modern only complaint is room was a bit too warm - did not realise you can turn the radiator off so was okay second night. Double bed not really big enough for 2 adults sharing. Boys had a single bed each which was good.

Some modern decor like more natural wood doors rather than dark old colours old fashioned door handles. I must say the bar is very nice very modern rooms classy and also bathrooms are fantastic.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was very clean and central to everything in the town.

No room temperature so the room was exceedingly warm and hot when first arrived.

I had a beautiful room and the view from the balcony was beautiful looking into the river finn We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food was beautiful and the staff were amazing

We received the warmest welcome from Holly at check-in. She had us laughing from the very start. Our rooms were large, comfortable and spotlessly clean, I was so impressed with the bathroom I took photos for renovation inspiration! We had our evening meal in the hotel and were blown away with the choice. I have food allergies and to be offered a full dairy free menu AND full gluten free menu was impressive. I had no concerns at all about cross-contamination. The food was excellent, full of flavour with generous portions. Breakfast was also first-rate with dairy free and gluten free options clearly labelled. We loved chatting with Denise and left feeling like we were old friends.

The only negative is that the stay was too short. Will definitely be back for a longer visit.

There was nothing to dislike.

Was greeted by a lovely friendly man on reception very helpful all staff were lovely, we had a small issue with our room key which resolved very quickly the room was very comfortable and warm we went to the bar for some dinner and drinks again staff couldn’t do enough food was absolutely gorgeous then after dinner a lovely lady offered us a glass of bubbly for the issue with room key which was just lovely could not fault anything and will definitely return very soon

Staff were lovely and hotel bar and food were great.

The hotel lobby and bars are nice but the rest of it is old fashioned. Beds are comfy but small. Our room was a decent size but the couple we travelled with stayed next door and their room was small.

couldnt say anything bad about the place although internet could have been stronger.

The view was excellent. The bed was comfy and the room spacious.

The toilet roll holder in the bathroom was broken and also the plug for the bath is inconvenient as it dislodged every time I hit it with my foot. Other than that everything was perfect. Just small little details.

Disappointed, not value for money.

The bedroom was very outdated ,dark furniture and carpets, only single glazed window. The tiles on the bathroom floor moved when we walked on them. The pressure in the shower was shocking.. Hallway from function room to bedroom was absolutely freezing. The food at the function was good, as was the service, but generally, was very disappointed with our stay, expected alot more , given the price of the room.

Staff was very friendly on arrival. Very clean hotel and the food was amazing.

Friendly reception staff, waiters & bartender in the quirky bar. Didn’t realise this bar existed but lovely open fire & decor.

Main bar staff could be friendlier especially as the night moved on…appreciate dealing with drinkers may not be easy, but it’s the job.
