Pros +
- Great location. Kind and helpful staff.
- Good food. Courteous and helpful staff. Good location....and about 20 mins walk to the railway station.
- The location is superb, especially if you pick a room facing the square, with the magnificent view of the square and the chateau. The check-in was quite quick and the breakfast was really great with lots to choose from, although some fruit juice would have been nice. Lovely fresh crusty rolls, good coffee and a generous hot buffet were all great. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. All in all very good value for money, for a place right in the historic centre.
Cons -
- Very much run-down hotel rooms. Visible stains on carpet, sticky night stands, dirty bathrooms. We had rooms 2 and 3, but rooms were nothing like pictures on their website.
- The room decor had definitely seen better days but was generally clean....apart from the carpet! The shower floor had a noticeable gradient and was very slippery. Would be safer to have a rubber shower floor mat.
- The last time I stayed at the Boucek, it was still an independent hotel, so I breakfasted in the beautiful vaulted dining room there with the chandelier. It was a bit strange, walking into a deserted foyer with no-one at the Reception - you have to check in and breakfast at the La Fresca next door. That said, I suppose it is another casualty of the Covid pandemic. The threadbare carpet on the stairs up to both floors needs attention, and there was a rip on the sofa in my room. The water in the shower was not very hot.

Reception and breakfast at La Fresca next door were great. Location is wonderful. Beds and linens were fine. Bathroom was nice and well appointed.
Carpet really needed to be cleaned (it was stained but also very dirty). The room had been nicely decorated but has been quite beat up with bangs, dents and scraped in the wall. We were on the first floor but that is still 28 steps. No English TV and apparently only 4 channels (I checked because it was a rainy day).
The hotel has a very good location and the room was clean.
Being in transit, we get to the hotel at 11 pm. Reception was closed, and no other people around. We called the number found on Booking.com, and after a long time, someone answered and told us to take the keys for the hotel and room from a box, nothing else. Then we couldn't find the room, because the lady from the phone didn't say that there were two hotels in the same building. So I to call her again. On the website, they said the hotel has car parking, and it is not true. I had to pay to the reception 16€ for community car parking. No WiFi, also, the towels in the room are very old, and they are not white anymore. And to finish our staying "wonderful", when we get to breakfast in the morning, we only find some dry leftovers, even that it was 1 hour left till breakfast finish. Conclusion: No 4★hotel AT ALL! No worth it the money.Definitely not recommended!
We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, elegant, and comfortable, with a charming classic design. The jacuzzi in the room was a great touch, and everything was clean and cozy. Breakfast was fine, and the location is excellent – close to everything, yet peaceful. Overall, a great place to stay, and we would happily return.
Excelent location.
Very poor wifi signal. Bad smell in a room. Torn and worn - actualy horrible carpet. Bedside tables were sticky. The towels lost their white color long time ago. One of them torn and worn so badly. What a shame to provide the towels of such quality. Bathroom was ok.
It had a beautiful room, a bit old but still cute. The view from the room was super. We stayed in the room, where there was a bath and it made our night fabulous. Everything was clean, also the carpet, which covered most of the room. Breakfast was very good with many options.
It was not properties fault, but if you are foreigner and not used to church bells (which bell in every full and half hour) then it is disruptive as the church is right across from the hotel.
Huge room, expensive equipment/furniture
Noisy heating system. Beds could be better. Expensive parking.
Fair-one of the cheapest in the area. Good value bud older hotel.
Terrible bed.
breakfast was amazing
no lift, had to carry up the suitcases, room furniture was sticky

Great location right on the main square. Breakfast was very good.
The place is a little run down (the carpets are old), reducing its charm.
Location. Very confortable room and bedroom, well heated. Very good breakfast.
Lack of private parking. Public parking in front of the hotel very expensive. Lack of refrigerator/minibar.
Very helpful staff and nice breakfast. Check out at 11:00 on weekends is perfect.
Location excellent
Bed was hard as the floor. Did not stay for the night.
