    • Location
    • location, cleanlines.
    • Right in the city center in a nicely restored old building.

    Cons -

    • The room the staff and the brackfest
    • the room (no 4 ) has no ventilation. there is AC but there is no window, only into the little internal court, more like a chimney but closed at the top by glass roof.. so no way for air to come in or out. Also, in the court there are numerous external AC units, heating it up in the summer. All hotel has very poor ventilation. In the court downstairs (outside but under the roof..) is smoking point and the air comes into the hotel by natural circulation .. and has very limited way to escape. As a result, there is often quite unpleasant smell all over the hotel.
    • Breakfast place is situated in an old cellar, what would normally be interesting (the place is nice), but the lightning should be improved - now it’s maybe good for a night club, for breakfast it’s hard to see what you eat.

excelent location in the center in the neighbourhood of archbishops palace. professional staff.

Perfect location just on the main square.

Poor water pressure in third floor because of that it was impossible to use the shower. Hotel staff admitted this fact but did not warned during check-in.

Good Location. Clean and modern interior.Good breakfast.

1- Strong foul odour from bathroom pipes.2- Our room (11), did not have side windows, only a roof window with no blind.. meaning, you are awaken at 5am with the morning light.3- Occasional lack of water for showers.

    Fantastic location, good breakfast.

We were in room 18 and the internet there didn't work at all. A basic requirement nowadays. The room was not particularly comfortable - too hot despite the low temperature outside (the aircon was too noisy) and a bit noisy at night. Overall not great value for money.

    locationAC in the room

    - not clean at all - spider net in shower, hairs in bed- dirty roof windows in the room with no possibility to open them - no fresh air in the room, at least pleasant temperature- very hot and smelly hallways and corridors- breakfast only till 10 am on weekend- staff not able to suggest good place for dinner- dirty outside lift (glass parts)- dirty backyard with cigarettes butts - nobody cleaned it between Friday and Sunday- 3rd floor no smoothly running watter, rapid changes ice-cold to unbearably hot and back, unexpected changes in the watter flow. almost impossible to take shower

It is a very central hotel, right in the main square. The room was big and the bed quite confortable.

The windows doens t have proper blackouts. The breakfast is very limiteted and served in a kind of a cellar, which could be nice for a dinner, but not adequated for breakfast.

    8UmbertoPosted on: 6-9-2023

The position of the hotel in the main squareThe room was big

The breakfast was quite poor and not a lot of options were available. The room for breakfast is a cellar that could be suitable for a wine tasting or a dinner rather than for breakfast. The sheets covering the mattress had a strange towel- texture. It seems to me that something was missing. Generally they are used only as matress conver under the proper sheet.Cleaning during the stay could be improved. Good valuable for money but it doesn't meet 4 stars standards.

Reasonably new, stylish decor in historic building. A good sized room overlooking the main square. 'Free' street parking immediately outside the hotel.

Breakfast was in the gloomy, poorly lit (albeit historic), cellar of the building. Some evidence of 'wear and tear' of room fittings eg. bedside light, shower head.

    Poor breakfast.

I was here for a business trip and we went out for Dinner (coming back to the hotel at 10pm). I had forgotten my key card in the room but the reception was closed (with 2 emergency numbers outside). Both didn't work... After 1 hour I asked a colleague If I can sleep in his room... So thanks to him and good luck that I was not alone. Otherwise I even wouldn't have been able to open the main door. Freezing outside... Unbelievable, what If that would have happened when you are here with young children? The next day I went to the reception (opening at 8), nobody was there except a cleaning woman who luckily opened the door for me. Later I at least wanted to have this clarified but the lady at the reception told me that I have must dialed the wrong numbers. So I dialed the number again and her phone rang ?. She had a long chat with a colleague of hers with the result that she told me that after all it simply was my fault as I have forgotten my card in the room. This even was quite kind of funny. A simple "I'm really sorry" would have made it but I think you can't expect that here. Very poor reception, closely followed by a 1 star breakfast. The room was nice but unbelievable hot.30-March-2023

location, exemplary transformation of a historical building into a modern hotel,

Breakfast is the only weak point of the hotel, choice is limited and some items are in shortage if you come somewhat later, coffee machine is of good quality but undersized for hotel needs

The location is great, right at the city centre. It is within walking distance to the train station, and to all the main gardens and chauteau. The area is safe. The room size and toilet size are good. The shower is hot and constant. The lighting is alright. Wifi connection is alright. Staff are friendly.

Value for money could be better overall. The room itself is quite hot even when all windows are open at the start of autumn, and when the windows are open, you can clearly hear the church bells ringing around every 45 minutes during midnight. Noise cancellation can be improved. The bed sheet is basically towel-texture, so it is quite rough.

Very good location, just in the center of the city, close to the famous UNESCO parks... Really cool terrace, very clean and modern overall.
