Cons -
- One elevator and no ice on the floors.
- The bed was very small for two people. We requested a bath, there was only a shower. There was a constant noise outside of the bedroom. There is only one elevator in the hotel which was out of order. I had to carry our luggage down 4 flights of stairs to the basement carpark. We had to climb 3 flights of stairs each time we needed to get anywhere. Breakfast was cold. The toaster kept breaking down and the coffee machines worked sometimes.
- Broken liftHad issues with heating in room, it was quite cold. Draughty bedroom window. Loose tile in bathroom, trip hazardDraught coming in the window even though window closed. People urinating in underground carpark.Lifts when aer operating they are very slow to come.

Pleasant staff, excellent breakfast good location
Nice, clean, with new furniture
We heard how people were talking in the room nextdoor. Sound isolation is quiet bad
Cleanliness. Ease of booking on and out.
Me and my partner went down for a drink in the bar on our first night. The total of the 2 drinks were €20.50. We went out for a quick cigarette and on our return, the drinks had been taken up and disposed of. We explained this to the bar staff, thinking they would be replaced but they didn't. It was extremely disappointing considering how expensive things are. The attitude of the bar staff that we were confronted with was an unwillingness to do anything. They just wanted us out of the bar, bearing in mind, this was the first and last drinks we ordered. We felt embarrassed and offended by the whole situation
Clean comfortable friendly staff nice breakfast
Bed was a bit on the small size but comfortable, No residents bar got back 1140 and wasn’t able to get a nightcap
Worst experience in a hotel
Our first room we were located in had a strong smell of urine in the bathroom, mainly around the shower area as it was a wet room. We then got moved to another room which was located directly above an events room were the music was ridiculously loud. We then got moved to another room at 11pm directly above the previous room which again music didn't seem to get much better. We stayed with my mum and daughter aged 8 who could not sleep due to the noise level. Very disappointed, I have never experienced a hotel stay like it.
Beds very comfortable, it was relaxing and shower was very good.
The room smelled slightly of smoke and being a non smoker- it wasn’t the most pleasant smell
The room was exactly like I saw in the picture, very clean , nice and warm
There was no body wash, the bottle was empty, there was only shampoo in the bathroom , we had to use our own body wash. There was no bin liner in the main bin, finding it difficult to put the wet tea bags
Breakfast was lovely.
No quietness or respect others signs throughout the bedrooms area. Very loud people in corridors at all hours. Not nice to be woken repeatedly.
Location, staff, food
Romm was cold initially
I've got a spacious room, which was clean and comfortable. One thing I couldn't figure out was the heating: it was automatically switching off after some time, so during the night the temperature was dropping. Comfy bed, bathroom with a bathtub, decent wifi connectivity, nothing to complain.Breakfast in form of buffet offered all the expected options from English breakfast, through cereals, pastry, fruits, juices, selection of teas and coffee. Overall, visiting different places in UK before (but first time in Ireland), I was positively surprised!
What could be better:- maybe signage for the hotel entrance: the main entrance is not from the main street and the driver who brought me from the airport and was at the hotel for the first time drove around the building twice before figuring out where to get there.- I'm not sure if the problem with the heating turning itself off was just my room, but it would be helpful to either know how it should work or fix it if it's a fault.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Plaza Hotel Tallaght. The rooms were clean, modern and well equipped, with a lovely view overlooking the sensory garden. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was particularly enjoyable. Underground parking was available, which was very convenient, and the hotel’s location is excellent, with shops within easy walking distance.
The only downside was that the rooms were not as soundproof as in some other hotels we’ve stayed in.
The parking , and walking distance to amenities is good
The room when I entered was freezing. The air con worked after 20 mins, but I had to figure that out. It was very cold that evening , so entering a cold room was uncomfortable. There were long black hairs on the slip mat from previous occupants. The bar is small , but fine.
Excellent breakfast, comfortable beds and lovely, spacious rooms and social area. Well located
Issues with toilet in the room
Location
Unable to contact staff at reception. Numerous calls made some disconnected by staff Noise Poor sleep due to noise
Modern interior with desk light to work with. Comfortable pillows. Quiet and effective room temperature control.
Firm bed. A few hairs on the side of the bath and crumbs under the tea making tray.
It was very central to where we needed to be which was the hospital
The only issue was how warm the room was, the room was preheated and we tired to cool it down, we had the window open but the noise from the road was too much, we asked for a fan but they didn’t have any.
The staff was great, breakfast was solid, room was clean, bed was confortable, the bar had good beers and drinks in the menu, in general our stay was great and there isn't much to complain to be honest
There were 2 occasions that there was no hot water in the shower which was kinda frustrating, it was marathon weekend, the hotel was quite full, so maybe a lot of people taking showers, also the location isn't the most easy to get to after leaving the Luas, a little walk is needed.
