A little stinky in the bar. Stale beer.
Beautiful hotel on amazing grounds.
Wi-fi was spotty in our room.
Stunning building! Really enjoyed getting to explore the rooms and the location. Rooms were cozy and had everything you could need within! Breakfast which was included was lovely and available for a reasonable amount of time. We had an amazing stay!
Beautiful quiet hotel with loads of character and charm but the staff were exceptionally welcoming. Special mention to Mary who always had a welcoming smile for breakfast and a lovely friendly chat who made your stay feel extra special. Thank you. But saying that all the staff were so friendly. Bikes were complementary to take out and I went for a lovely cycle through the national park. Really enjoyable stay, I’ll be back
What a magnificent property in every way. The multiple comfortable sitting rooms, atriums and lounges, fireplaces lit each evening, kind friendly staff, delicious breakfast with views of the fields from every window, beautiful grounds to wonder. A lift!! Two lovely Restaurants and on and on.
Absolutely nothing
We loved enjoying a relaxing evening by a fireplace in several different sitting rooms. Breakfast was wonderful and the morning staff was very kind and thoughtful remembering our family. The Cellar Bar was fun, enjoyed different drinks and great conversation with the employees.
Everything was 100%.Beautiful place.Exceptional staff...particularly Mary ( at breakfast).
The bedroom was exceptionally warm
The romantic atmosphere, extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable staff as well as the complimentary bikes for touring the nearby town sights.
Not much.
The scenery; The livestock; The team; The food; The decor … most pleasant all round.
I have nothing negative to say.
You get what you pay for. This beautiful hotel is based in a fine house in private parklands discreetly remote from the buzz of Killarney yet not that far from the centre. It has class galore. All the staff are friendly, charming, relaxed and highly competent. The food was superb. Our room was glorious in its attention to detail and quality furnishings, including a very comfortable bed and old Irish antique furniture.
You couldn’t walk from the lakeside property down to the lakeshore. There was no longer a path.
Beautiful, very well maintained, professional and attentive staff
Overrated breakfast.
Nice Building and awesome parc with a lot of space
Bus Tourists were very loud and the house was crowded. I paid a high price - and didn‘t expected this in „small luxury hotel“
This property felt like a magical castle with beautiful spaces, delicious food (the most excellent breakfast!) and friendly staff. I am already dreaming of coming back!
From the moment you walk into the hotel the history and the quality surround you.The attention to detail, the quality of the food and the great staff make it a relaxing and pleasurable experience. My partner and I will have long lasting memories from our visit.
A quieter fan in the room would be useful, it's a minor thing but it was a humid day and we needed the fan to help cool us in the evening.
Fantastic property near the national park. Beautifully manicured, and wonderful architecture. Even better, wonderful people.
NA
Luxurious and posh. We had a suite with two rooms and a balcony overlooking a meadow with cows and deer. The breakfast was excellent and was dinner at the Celler restaurant/bar.
Picturesque setting at a lovely home. Love that there were cows and fields next to the beautifully maintained hotel grounds. It was an easy walk into Killarney, but so nice to return down the long tree lined drive to escape the busyness of the town and relax.
Love it! Wonderful location, beautiful facilities, ample parking and helpful staff. Wished we planned to stay more than 1 night.
The breakfast was outstanding and the bar service was good. It was nice seeing the beautiful decor and the really gorgeous stair case banister
The room was not what we expected a bit cramped - would have liked a bigger room with high celling The grounds were beautiful - but smaller than what we thought - we could not walk to the lake was not possible
Love it! Wonderful location, beautiful facilities, ample parking and helpful staff. Wished we planned to stay more than 1 night.
