Incredibly friendly staff, beautiful room. We loved the in-room breakfasts.
A spacious room with comfy beds and a great shower. Plus there's a restaurant! But the best part is that breakfast is already in the room, and it's a good breakfast. Well, everything for breakfast is there except for some pastries... which the pastry fairy comes along and hangs outside your door sometime in the night. So you can have your breakfast whenever you want it, in the privacy of your own room. Nice!
Deirdre the host was amazing. She helped us to our room and even parked our car. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Coutesy (met us for a late arrival and Made sure everything was okay). Wonderful in-room breakfast with fresh pastries. Spacious room.
One of the best stays we had on this trip. Nicely renovated rooms, great bed and shower. Restaurant is top notch. Staff is super friendly and helpful. No hot breakfast, but a very nice selection of breakfast items served in the room.
Absolutely no complaints
As given
Badly disturbed late at night 12.15am by returning guests who were very noisy
It was a wet evening so we enjoyed dining here as well without a walk looking for a place.
There could have been better signage in the courtyard area to help us find our way.
Location, courtesy, facility, breakfast setup
Part of what drew us to the hotel was the highly rated restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our 2 night stay.
The room was clean. The location was convenient.
The electric car chargers were not working. I booked a room here as it has a destination charger. We reached the hotel with very little charging considering that there was a charger, then we were informed that the chargers were not working. We had to figure out how to charge our car in the middle of the night and ended up wasting a lot of time. Due to all this, we were unable to start early, as we had planned the next day and our entire day was ruined. The management has to inform customers prior to visit if something like this has happened. When pre check in steps can be sent via mail and WhatsApp, this should have also been done.
Fab customer service, room beautiful and quiet. Food in restaurant was amazing. 2nd stay and will come again. Great location for hiking locally.
The room was large
The restaurant and bar were advertised on the website but when I got there, both were closed. This was not made evident prior to or after booking. Had I known, I would not have booked Quinlan and Cook. At a rate of €185, breakfast was included, however, breakfast was exceptionally poor. I was told pastries would be left outside my door for breakfast. I was surprised to see a very poor selection with one croissant and a Danish pastry in a bag. As there were no gluten free options, I was left with youghurt for breakfast. Services that are not available should not be advertised as available. Very poor customer service and a very disappointing stay.
Excellent room facilities ... en suite bright ... great walk in shower...online check in not too cumbersome... food quality of breakfast items really good..great bed linen ... warm with great decor in keeping with building
Car park... quite confusing on late arrival ... lower lights on low walls on hilly slope ..but DELIGHTED to spot EV Chargers next day .... lots of hedging and leaves loose on sloping walkways down to back entrance ... clearer signage/online instructions as to which accommodation block was which ... it was dark and late ...
The breakfast was fabulous… such a treat. Delicious smoked salmon, yogurt and fruit compote, and delicious fresh fruit and orange juice.
The lighting could have been brighter
Great big room, modern, clean and central to town. Stylish . Loved having breakfast catered to us with the fresh pastries delivered. Ate in the restaurant and was one of the finest meals I’ve ever had
Comfortable, clean and warm.Fresh breakfast.
I booked a Thursday night stay and chose Q&C because of the attached restaurant. It was not open, contrary to their advertisement. My low rating reflects my disappointment.
Rooms were large, modern and clean. Owner Kate and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. At the restaurant, the food was excellent and the staff were great. I have nothing bad to say about Quinlan and Cooke, it was a great experience and I highly recommend the hotel and restaurant to any traveler.
Property had a feel good factor on the luxurious side. Cahersiveen deserves the quality accommodation fabulous restaurant and exceptional service provided by Kate of Quinlan and Cooke. An experience you will want to repeat.
That we had to leave.
