- Staff was nice. Good pub
- The room was really lovely. I had a bad back and the receptionist put us in a room with a bath so I could soak. Breakfast was great, staff friendly.
- Greeting upon arrival extremely fast and friendly which is a great sign .Breakfast very nice , coffee was a bit weak , breakfast room setting great very spacious and staff outstanding ?Bar bistro staff and all hotel staff were excellent extremely helpful and friendly, bar bistro food amazing, their signature dessert we ate was baked alaska and it was fantastic. Lovely cosy home from home atmosphere in the bar . We enjoyed our stay thanks to all the staff ?
Cons -
- Paying extra for breakfast. When you pay $170 plus for a room breakfast shouldn?t be an extra cost
- A little bit more out of downtown than I thought.
- Better coffee ☕️ for breakfast , musty smell in the second floor hall area from carpets, hotel bedroom furniture carpets etc outdated needs fresh ideas. Floors in bedrooms creaked quite a bit could hear next doors noise.

Clean, good location, staff very nice and helpful
The staff were really helpful and friendly. Good value for money . The food was lovely . We would definitely return .
Location was good and staff were friendly.
I did request anything extra that would make the stay special for my boyfriend’s birthday but we were put in a family room. Shower also leaked out on to the floor.
Hotel was as expected, nice comfortable and clean.
Tea/coffee facilities were strange, supplies in cups and no spoon but we weren't sure if the cups were for storage or use, no paperwork to explain.
Hotel is lovely an clean. Staff are very helpful
Nothing - all was great
Such a lovely hotel. Room was so nice and spacious and immaculate.Staff were so lovely
Clean, friendly, comfortable
Shower pressure poor
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable.Parking was available.Room was spacious enough.Plenty towels.
It was very noisy late into the night. The lobby is very shabby and unkempt. The person at reception was not friendly either on arrival or departure.
Bad
The blonde lady working the morning we were checking out her attitude was ridiculous and we got absolutely robbed for disgusting looking breakfast that we didn’t touch we have stayed here 3 times before but now will never be back and wouldn’t recommend. I will post the very questionable looking sausages ? we had no problem paying for the 2 slices of toast and 2 mini crossaints we have but being charged €20 for what we go is laughable
Rooms were spacious n clean
A bit out of town
Everything really ,the location was Brilliant lovely and quiet The staff was lovely and chatty .Our evening meal was fab big portions was delighted with that and breakfast was fab also cooked fresh Thank you all
Highest recommendations for the Torc Hotel and its wonderful staff. The location (Killarney) is an excellent launching pad for tourists, such as myself, who enjoy trekking throughout the southwestern Kerry and Cork peninsulas (Dingle- 25 min to Castlemaine; Iveragh- 30 min to Kenmare; Beara- 30 min to Knockduragh; as well as Sheep’s Head and Mizen Head- 2 hours to each point) but do not want to have to unpack and repack to move to a new location everyday. It offers ample, free parking and is just outside of the busy town center, which is a plus for me as it provides a quiet retreat. The hotel has full breakfast service for its guests and serves meals 7 days per week, even off-season. This latter is especially convenient as during off-season, it can be very difficult to find an open restaurant in the aforementioned areas. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Generous pours on beverages. The hotel is very quaint (still uses actual keys for their rooms) but the rooms have been updated with modern bathrooms and fixtures (everything is shiny and clean). The beds are luxurious (very comfortable mattresses and comforters). The wait staff (both breakfast and restaurant/bar detail) are super friendly and attentive. I’ve been a B&B-er guest in Ireland for many years, but for the above reasons, I think I’ve found a home away from home with the Torc Hotel. I will definitely be back every year!
My only recommendation (constructive criticism) is that they check and clean the hot water appliances (i.e., for coffee and tea) provided in the rooms more frequently as the equipment tends to get moldy.
Beautiful hotel very friendly staff. Room very clean and comfortable
Location was handy to Killarney for the historics rally
We went down for the historics rally to stay 1 night, Room was freezing asked for the heating to be turned on 3 times an it was only on for few minutes, we had to sleep sleep in our clothes to stay warm, worst hotel experience
Very friendly staff! Homely, country feel
Noisy neighbours! This happened the last time I stayed too. Room opposite us were up all night singing etc.
More lolike a nursing home than a hotel
Water was always cold in the shower. Manager was rude
Very welcoming Great bar and restaurant Food very reasonable Staff fantasticDefinitely will be back
