    Pros +

    • Great location. Friendly staff. Quaint little town.
    • Location is great. Boulangeries, bars, restaurants, and supermarket, are all within walking distance.Staff was very friendly, and made good effort to communicate with me even though my French is terrible. My room (3rth floor) was dark and quiet.Public parking very close by. It was free for Saturday on Sunday night. Be warned, no parking on Saturday morning.
    • Very comfortable rooms. Clean, newly remodeled, fans in every room, right in the town centre and excellent breakfast with home made cake by Erica.Absolutely recommend. We were lucky to get an excellent view of the hot air balloon championship. 32 in the air all at once!

    Cons -

    • The automatic front door did not always work well. We later learned there was a code to use, but we weren't informed (as far as I remember). A minor thing but it would help to mention this.
    • Room and bathroom were very small. With two people there would be little room for all your bags. For just 1 person it was enough. No fridge in the room, so you can't cool your drinks.Sign on the door says "English spoken here", but that is a stretch. Still, even with broken English and French we could communicate just fine.
    • Bring earplugs for the rooms to the front of the hotel above the Irish pub. It didn't bother us one bit, but it might bother others who can't sleep with earplugs.Don't trip over the top step of the stairs of the first floor where the rubber strip has come loose.

    Great location, nice hotel.

As usual in France and Belgium, sour, warm milk.

    8DavidPosted on: 6-25-2025

Good looking old building. Spacious room, good bathroom.

The drain in my sink didn’t work well.

    7SharonPosted on: 3-27-2025

Excellent location. Very helpful staff. Comfortable bed.

Lack of full restaurant and bar

Location and general condition of room... good breakfast...

Basin in bathroom tap was very loose... shower head adjustment rail was very loose, shower tray very slow at draining ended up standing in lots of water...

the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable .location is great for the square and castle .it reminds me of a premier inn ..which is a good thing . extremely good value for money

Ideally located on way back to Calais for an overnight stay. The hotel is in the middle of this very pleasant town with easy free parking a few metres away in the square. Ideally situated near restaurants and bars and places of historical interest. Big wide comfy bed and a good quality breakfast.

Had nothing here to find fault.

Hotel room decor was nice, and in a lovely old building. Receptionist wasvery helpful and friendly.

The pillow was too small, the quilt too small, overall the comfort of the bed was poor, I was very disappointed especially as they are usually a good quality hotel brand. In 10 days of travelling and all at different hotels, this was the least comfortable.

    5LexPosted on: 8-18-2024

Beautiful hotel, kind staff and good location in the center.

No AC in the room, hairdryer was not working and there was no coffee during breakfast. The machine was broken, but a bit of creative hospitality-minded person could have arranged a pot of coffee for the guests anyway, especially with a cafe serving coffee next door.

    9wernerPosted on: 8-12-2024

Nice room, good location, excellent restaurant recommendation, good bike storage.

    9JasonPosted on: 8-7-2024

Nice hotel located in an old historic building close to the Museum of the Great War. Comfortable and spacious room.

Nothing not to like about the hotel but Peronne is a very quiet place to be on a Sunday night - not many restaurants available.

    9ClairePosted on: 8-3-2024

Very good hotel to pass the night. Very simple but very nice place to stay, also very clean and the rooms are vert spacious.

Check in facilities. The reception is closed as from 9:00 PM.

Central location next to the Historial de la Grande Guerre and bistros. Nice, spacious room newly renovated.

Bathroom was quite worn and could need a renovation.

    5TorbenPosted on: 7-11-2024

The mature food was superb. The room was newly renovated

The room was newly renovated but the hotel was older and the rooms location was small on the first and second floor, although with ellevartor access. The access to the rooms was through winding and not escape-proof narrow passages

    9RosemaryPosted on: 7-8-2024

A perfect location for touring the various WWI cemeteries and memorials, located in a quiet town with some beautiful restaurants. This was our fourth stay in this hotel and the convenience, quality of the breakfast and efficient staff mean we will return again.

Bath towels could do with an upgrade.

    7IanPosted on: 6-24-2024

    Breakfast and location were good.

the room had a communicating door with the next room. The door was not sound-proofed in any way so we could hear EVERYthing that was going on in the next room.No evening meal service, but 3 good restaurants were just round the corner.
