Location was great. Breakfast was excellent. Facilities were clean and pool was great.

Our thermostat did not work in the room. We had to keep the window open the entire stay for it to be somewhat ventilation. There was no other way to circulate the air. And there were mosquitoes overnight so it was not pleasant. We will not stay again for that reason. They did not resolve the problem when told of it. The worker they sent up said it was broken.

Its a very nice hotel, right on the ocean. I found everything on the breakfast and dinner table, what I love, food selection was really good. The restaurant has a giant terrace, with beautiful view, very pleasent. The hotel beach is just one step away from the building, rocky like everywhere in Croatia. The room is queit, very comfortable, large bed. Staff of the hotel is very helpful. I will visit this hotel next time, I highly recomend it to everybody, who is visiting Opatija.

Food offer is great and food is very tasty. Excelent location. Staff is helpful and polite.

The hotel was really nice and rooms are very comfortable and clean, with beautiful sea view.There was different kind of food, rich buffet for breakfast and dinner, specially because I needed gluten free food. Also loved the possibility of having meals outside on the terrace enjoying food, smell of the sea and salt, fresh air and beautiful sunsets.The beach in front of the hotel was really nice. Lastly, the staff is helpful and kind.

Large room, beautiful view, decent buffet.

Hotel is a little dated, AC didn’t function and the WiFi was terrible. I had to sit in the lobby to get my work done.

Central hotel, parking available. Large room with nice sea view, however no balcony. Seawater pool included.

Lack of staff: room was not cleaned automatically; outside tables during breakfast and dinner were not available. Air conditioning was out of order; room temperature 25 deg.C! Bath outdated. Food could be better for 4 stars.

The free parking is limited and there were no spots available, even off-season. This was not made clear from the listing. We had to use the city parking which was quite expensive.

Great sea view, large rooms, amazing breakfast and dinner buffets. Small, very salty, but very nice indoor pool.

The hotel has neither a new and modern nor an antique turn-of-century style, but hides its 1920ies roots behind a 70ies Yugoslavia interior. But it is still very comfortable.

The hotel is located right at the sea front, and our rooms had beautiful views of the Kvarner Bay. Food was delicious, both at breakfast and dinner. The indoor pool is really nice. Very helpful personnel.

The hotel is neither original fin-de-siecle nor modern and fresh - but everything is clean and comfortable, so no negative point, either. In one room, the curtains couldn't fully cover the windows, so that it became very light right after sunrise.

You can tell there is a difference between online photos and reality. The hotel is dated, you can see it everywhere. Although it has a pool and beautiful view, I wouldn't give it 4 *. Room has strange layout..tv set is a joke but bathroom is a challenge; You actually have to squeeze behind the toilet to be able to close the bathroom door, to enter the shower, while sitted on the toilet your left arm is on the sink. Crazy.

The rooms facing the sea are large and have beautiful views. The swimming pool was an added bonus. The food in the bar is better than the restaurant.

The buffet meals are similar everything day. rather disappointing. Breakfasts are reasonable and the best meal of the day. The buffet dinner is more of a bun fight when the hotel is full, especially in autumn, when inside eating is preferable, and quite expensive for what you get offered. Parking, if coming by car is a problem, you need to book the hotels 4 spots outside, at a price! No iron in rooms.

Location by the sea and room looked out at sea. Easy walk from bus station. Pool looked lovely but I didn't get time to use it. Excellent breakfast. Loved having a bath in our room. Good to have mini frig for water.

Air conditioning not working in the hotel and it was 27 degrees and airless at night, if we opened the window it was really noisy with music and voices from bar underneath. No tea making facility. No soap for bath only gel high up on wall in a dispenser that didn't work.really hard to find hotel as the name Krystal faced the road above canopy and we were walking. the capital K font looked like an H so easy to miss. a sign with hotel name on entry steps or doorway would help.

It was an unbelievably beautiful view from the room. I just loved it. Special thanks to the receptionist Ljuba for her high level of customer service.

Maybe they should give a discount on sunbeds for those staying at the hotel.

Reception staff were particularly helpful in looking up bus timetables for me which made a lot of difference for me later that week. Everything else worked well for my short overnight stay

Conveniently situated with parking which was important. Neven on reception was excellent. Wonderful views over bay.

The restaurant whilst buffet style is more of free for all for bus tours which stay there. Spoils the otherwise good points.
