The hotel offers a delightful experience with its exceptionally friendly staff, delicious food, and excellent cleanliness. The breakfast is outstanding and plentiful, and the spa facilities are of high quality, though the pool area could use some updates. The saunas are wonderful.

A few drawbacks include the expensive parking fee, and the fact that drinks are not included with dinner on the half-board package, increasing the cost.

I liked everything, kr rather should I say nothing was bad or under the expectations that we had before visiting.

The food choices at the buffet could have been better but considering that it's middle of the winter when the hotel is scarcely filled, the food was still great 8/10

Beautiful hotel in a great location. It overlooks the sea, marina and promenade. Kind and efficient staff, parking available. The breakfast is excellent, dinner good. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The water in the pool is very warm, even in January which is often an issue in other hotels.

We had a great stay, very comfortable hotel. The only downside is that parking is not included in the price, although it is less expensive in the winter. It is also a bit difficult to find your way to it when arriving and not familiar with the area.

Kind personnel, sea view from the room, naturally shades rooms reducing the need for air condition even during hot summer days, clean rooms. Great breakfast, a lot of fruit, eggs and other options.

Common areas, rooms and bathrooms are in need for renovation in order to meet 4 star standards, entrances from the seaside boardwalk are locked after 23h as the doors are old there is no key card access. After that time, guests have to use the main entrance from the street and climb numerous stairs. Installing key card access for the seaside entrance would greatly improve the convenience. No tea/coffee amenities in the room. Dinner options are heavily pork based with limited alternative meat choices. During breakfast, there are many pigeons around and they will eat from unattended plates.

Hotel needs an update badly. I was told EV charger exists but thats not true. Pigeons on terrace. Old looking rooms and bathroom. Bad hairdryer. Parking is extra payment.

The location and the view, tha staff was nice.

Upon our arrival, we were told we got a free upgrade and when we entered the room it was nothing like the one on the pictures, it also had one queen bed and I specifically asked for twin beds, the terrace of this room was bigger but it had side views of the sea, so we requested the room we originally booked (as this other room was a downgrade actually) and got it eventually. I was saddened that we didn't at least get some discount for this whole situation (at least for the price of parking), as it took quite a bit of our time, totally unnecessary. The pool area looks like it hadn't been cleaned recently, as there seemed to be mould between the tiles. There was no coffee machine in the rooms, as there is in other 4* accomodations on the Adriatic. The breakfast wasn't really good and the coffee machine makes terrible coffee. One of the bathrobes we got had ripped that thing you put the belt in... Overall, wouldn't really come back, as I wasn't impressed with the hotel.

I stay at the Admiral 2-3 times a year. It has always been my priority when choosing where to stay. I usually stayed in a superior double room and everything was excellent. This time I booked a higher category - a junior suite and was disappointed and upset that the room looked like a regular double. Moreover, there were no cosmetics in the room - hair conditioner, body lotion, etc. And there was also no kettle and coffee machine, which I had in the lower category rooms. And by the way, I was surprised by the selection of food at breakfast - there was a significantly smaller selection of vegetables and meats. The room I was put in had a balcony overlooking the farm yard and I fell asleep and woke up just like the restaurant workers - the noise and conversations didn't let me get enough sleep.

Location is great, garage is available for affordable fee, view and feel from hotels bar is realy awesome and the prices for drinks and food are also good, no extrems which is nice.

Rooms are not soundproof very much. I heard people in the next room very clear and also people from the hall. I didn't like dinners, very average.

We (a group of 9 people, including grandparents and teenagers) enjoyed everything at this fabulous hotel - the rooms were big and comfortable, the breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and varied. We swam in the warm indoor seawater pool and we went for walks on the promenade towards Opatija and Lovran. We parked in front of the hotel - it cost 15 EUR per day.

The outdoor pool was closed, but it was April, so it's understandable.

Photos of the property on Booking.com don't represent reality. Hotel needs renovation especially pool area, corridors, and some rooms. Hotel is difficult to navigate, navigation signs in corridors are rare, confusing and in some cases wrong. Parking place can't be reserved in advance, so there is a risk in high season to arrive to the hotel and not be able to park cause there is high chance hotel garage is full, and nearby public parking is also full.

Breakfast is top five. Really recommended. Location is also very good.

Pool needs a renovation.

Swimming pool. It is not very big, but saltwater is a huge advantage. Very good food at breakfast and dinner.We got an upgrade from a Junior Suite to a Suite, which was very nice to have. Very good staff members, fluent in three or four languages.

As a former Facilities Manager, I noticed quite a lot of "deferred" maintenance issues in the room and throughout the hotel. Not something dramatic, yet sad to see those in a good 4-star property.Very narrow garage parking spaces, so two modern cars typically take three spaces, leaving some guests without parking.The location of a suite is in the inner corner of the building, giving a claustrophobic feeling with limited view and sunlight entering the room. The room rate is rather steep for a shoulder season.

The food selection and dinner offerings could be more extensive and with more options. It seems that the food choices are quite limited and could be improved. However, everything else is top-notch.

Staf was polite and responsible, reable. Location and view were incredible. I would sugest to my friends.

Heated saltwater pool, cleanliness, food selection for breakfast and dinner, staff was very nice, amazing seaview, best value for money I've seen.

Sometimes meat cuts were overcooked, while rice in risotto was undercooked.

A very beautiful sea view from the balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. There was a wide variety of food at breakfast and dinner.

A bit more effort could be put into the wellness, the food was fine for my taste but too salty. In the end, you will pay for parking without prior warning.

Spa area and indoor pool area needs some renovation and care...relax area around the pool was a little bit cold. Towels at the spa were a little bit too small for the purpose...
