Hotel Il Nido

We got the top floor, room 29 and the view on the balcony area was unreal. Also the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was so friendly!

The hotel is very nice. It has a quaint ambiance. The staff are exceptional. Views during breakfast are amazing. The hotel is located about 1km from the city center. It is walkable, but you could also get a golf cart (with a fee) to take you to the city center. Breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Full, hot breakfast with a view was wonderful rooms were clean and comfortable. balcony view from the room was wonderful 10-15 minutes walk downhill to Amalfi Center quiet setting. Restaurants nearby. bus stop just outside hotel

Access is not safe. Taxis want $40 for 5 min drive from main area to hotel so most people walk along narrow road with cars zipping by on both sides and no shoulder for most of the walk.

The location is good, within walking distance to the center.

The staff was not polite, they quoted a different taxi fare when we arrived, but it was a different fare when we returned, the breakfast was inadequate.

Loved it all. Sweetest staff and perfect hotel. We booked this last minute because Vista De Amalfi gave our reservation away. Hotel II Nido took us in and treated us like family. I highly recommend.

A little distance to walk back up from town, but a beautiful walk down

Hotel Nido is a family owned charming hotel with a classy vintage feel. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and had a wonderful balcony with the most incredible views of the coast . The breakfast offered a wide variety with exceptionally good fresh fruit pastries and cappuccino

Our room got a tad hot at night but nothing terrible It is a 10-15 minute walk to town center and very steep to walk back but nothing too terrible. We never felt unsafe

The town center is within walking distance, although the walk isn’t the most comfortable. We expected the hill and stairs, but part of the road lacks a sidewalk, which can be a bit tricky.There are a couple of restaurants nearby, with many more options available in town.The rooms were clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

The breakfast area is quite small, and it can feel a bit cramped when busy. While the pastries and sweets are excellent, the overall breakfast could be improved—particularly the eggs, which were cold.

Room had issues with the air conditioning but management was kind to offer a discount for inconvenience. Also slight odor in room but believe was location in the hall

Good value for your money.Clean hotel, gorgeous view over Amalfi , good breakfast with an unforgettable view..We stayed here for 4 nights and we will come back.Mike helped us with everything - to order a taxi, to make reservations for dinner, to give us all the informations about Amalfi. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Exceptional location with convenient parking. Great view, easy walk to town (tough walk back with stairs!), superb breakfast including bubbly and attentive staff.

The view from our balcony on our triple room on the 3rd floor of Almafi was espectacular, the staff was very nice, specially during breakfast which have also a view of town and a variety of options to eat, parking at the hotel was a plus for us since we were traveling by car and price was reasonable for the area, the hotel is about 10 / 15 minutes to the center of Amalfi and staff gave us some recommendations to visit and move around, we took a bus to Ravello which I highly recommend and once there to visit the Villas with the most famous view of Ravello. Great hotel and staff.
