Hotel La Ninfa

This place was amazing! The views are incredible and the room was wonderful! Mauricio went above and beyond for me when I arrived at nighttime and there was no taxi or bus service so I was picked up and driven there! I¿m so grateful I got to experience!

The location. But does it count, if it does not have shuttle service like other hotels?

They don't have shuttle from hotel to town center. Some rooms are outside of the hotel premises. When we arrived, we had to take our luggage down the road to our room. The road is often busy & narrow, so it is unsafe. Paid $--- for two night- not

The view is fantastic. The beach is just below also which is convenient.

The room was smaller than expected, the front door to the room itself was right on the street, there were ants in the room also.

Perfect view of the coastline. Far enough away from the main town to not get caught up in the tourist hustle and bustle but still close enough to enjoy the energy. The breakfast in the morning was exactly as ordered.

Parking can be challenging. With the hotel being directly on the main road into Amalfi there was traffic past the windows throughout the night. We couldn't work out the television when we wanted to watch a movie before going to bed.

The view from the windows, balcony are amazing, the walk to town in the mornings is downhill and picturesque, halfway there is a stairway that leads to road next to the marina and taking a bus going back up is like €1.50 per person and stops in front of the hotel, and if you’re coming from the other direction, the bus stops in front of the hotel as well. And the hotel is popular enough that the bus operators know where it’s at. Then the hotel gives you the keys to the main door so you can come and go as you please. I love the lady that serves breakfast, I wish I took her name, but she was so so gracious and accommodating. Reminded me of my own aunt ?

No food available and no coffee available since closed up in the evening. With no way to make coffee or tea in our rooms that was not a great way to end our stay in Italy (when we had a routine we could follow the previous 3 weeks during our trip from Florence to Naples, through Puglia and Amalfi coast).

Loved waking up to our beautiful view of the Amalfi coast from our window every morning! Such a cute and cozy room for couples / friends ! I loved the local decor of the room ! The room was very clean! Staff was very helpful and provided great tips and were very friendly! There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that can take you to Amalfi town center! (only a 5 minute bus ride). Public beach access nearby however, there are many stairs. But this is a very quiet and beautiful beach so it is worth all the steps! With all the crowdedness of all the Amalfi coast towns it was honestly really nice to be staying away from all the busyness ! Also, we loved eating at GAS bar- which is a 2 minute walk from here!

The building is right next to the main one, across the road and it was very loud. I didn’t sleep the first night at all. The AC is working very loud also.The staff is not friendly, especially the cleaning ladies. It felt like I came at theirs home to live for free. Also the managers were smiling through their teeth’s. So the staff made this stay more unpleasant than the actual road thing

Location is ok, half an hour walk to Amolfi city center, there is a bus stop in front of hotel, but they didnt sell ticket on the bus. You can not count on bus scheduale and transportation system at Amolfi. You shoukg climb ups and down a lot of stairs to get to the beach. You have to order breakfast the time you get in, which i didnt like, you should fill the form exactly how many bread you would eat and…

The room didn't have a window, had a door made of glass, 2 meters away from the breakfast tables. Room #2. This means that at 7h30 a.m. we were woken up with the noise of the coffee machine, people talking, etc. It felt like the restaurant was inside our bedroom. The receptionists weren’t happy and looked like machines.The place to take a shower was very small and hard to get in.

Great atmosphere and the staff was friendly and helpful all the time.

We like everything, a bit of a walk to the Amalfi town, but you can take the public transportation to make it easier.

The rooms without sea view are windowless. They open to a corridor where they serve breakfast. Our very thin glass door with q curtain was right outside the coffee machine. The stay was ok since we spent little time at the hotel. But I would not stay again

Wish it was closer to town.

Very good stay. The location is good and is not very far from the main amalfi town. Its about 2.5 km. Which is decent. But if you have luggage, do plan in advance.The sea facing room was great and the views from there were truly breathtaking. We didn't feel like leaving the room! There is a small beach right below the hotel which you can reach by taking the steps & is not very crowded. The breakfast was good. It also had a place to park right outside the hotel which is very convenient since we rented a scooter. Overall, a very good stay and worth the price in Amalfi where things can get very expensive.

The views were stunning from room 5. Beautiful balcony overlooking the sea & Hotel’s private beach. Location about 20 minutes walk to the town. Lots of good restaurants and bars to choose from. The walk is downhill to the centre so prepare to walk uphill on way back. Taxi fare costs around 30 euros. We found breakfast to be basic but staff accommodating and friendly.

The location 22mins walk from the hotel to the main town of Amalfi and our sea view when we wake up in the morning we can see the sea from our balcony and you can watch the sunrise and the sound of the sea was so relaxing.The cleanliness of the room and very strong WIFi. The staff member named Mauricio was very helpful.The boat trip to positano from amalfi was very good and only took 30 minutes, and you can pay on the ferry for €10. We ate seafood in Amalfi town, and it is so fresh.Italians were very friendly.

Noise in other rooms can be turned down.I was so noisy and we lost sleep.I just want to emphasise to be considerate to others and make it as hotel rules.Breakfast should be for everyone, not for only 8 guests.We are willing to wait for others to finish their breakfast.Shame we didn't have breakfast in their hall as it was nice because it was a sea view.Dinner should offer too.It would be nice if we have kettle in the room so we can make our own coffee.The first night we don't have bathroom door and myself and my friend hearing our bathroom business and the next day it appeared.It should be fixed before we checked in or at least inform us that the bathroom door wasn't there and made us aware.Tourist information booklet should be provided on each room and saying where the best place to eat in amalfi or tourist spots and things to do around Amalfi.Our room is near the road too, and we can hear the vehicle passing by. We can't do anything about it but again made us aware that it is the situation so we can understand.And asked us if we are happy with our chosen room.All in all good experience near to everything by walking distance.Distance make you fit.
