About
In the heart of Amalfi, Terrazza Duomo overlooks the city's famous Duomo and is set just a few yards from the sea shore. Located in one of the oldest buildings in the city, the 14th-century Palazzo Piccolomini, the hotel is centrally positioned. Nearby you can also find the beautiful Sant'Andrea Cathedral. Completely renovated in 2021, the hotel offers bright, comfortable rooms with modern amenities, yet maintains the ambiance of a period structure. Some rooms feature panoramic views of Amalfi's Duomo. As you have breakfast on the hotel roof, you will certainly enjoy the stunning views of Amalfi's elegant city and beautiful surroundings.

- Convenient location. Has a nice rooftop restaurant, but expensive. Expect to spend $--
- Front desk girl was very helpful! View of the plaza and cathedral were incredible. Location couldn¿t be better.
- The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was cute and had a nice view.
Cons -
- Our room was right outside the hotel kitchen and restaurant. It was sooo loud and uncomfortable to stay in. The hotel guest bathroom was right next to our door and the kitchen was about 5 steps from our hotel room door.
- Owner was strict about not letting me check in until 2pm even though the room was ready. I had to sit in the lobby from 11am just waiting. Pretty ridiculous.
- The only down side that really bother us is that the glasses of the room are not sound proof, so we were able to hear all the noises from the street (like vendors opening their restaurants/store and delivery people) and of course the bell of the church waking us up at 6 am.

Location and cathedral view with very friendly staff - amazing
The hotel is very nice and it has a beautiful view of the duomo, the room was comfortable and the staff was friendly.

We stayed in early January when the streets were decorated with beautiful holiday lights. It was so beautiful! The hotel staff were very kind and helpful even helping take luggage up and giving suggestions for dining and what to do. It was the most amazing location right on the square with a view of the Duomo. I loved the church bells and the decorations along the ocean. The rooms were clean and beautiful with under bed lighting. A large breakfast at the rooftop restaurant was incredible with an awesome view. The location is close to everything - lots of shops and cafes, the pier and the sea, a ten minute walk to beautiful Atrani, and steps to a quick bus ride up to Ravello for breathtaking, famous views!
Only the stairs. To get a high up view you have to work for it a little!
Amazing views, great brealfast, great location. Check in was easy. They had a service for parking which relaxed us. A favorite stay!
The room was right in the heart of the village. Very accessible to walk to everything. The food was delicious in the restaurant.
The room was anything but quiet. The windows did not hold the noise from the town square which is where the hotel sat. The bathroom was quite small and the shower pressure was but a trickle for the hot water. You couldn’t put any food in the in room refrigerator. The power could only be accessed with the hotel key which was odd.
The location is good but there is no parking. The hotel wants 50€ per day! And they don’t bring you the car if you need so it’s a lot of walking to the parking.
In the center
Beautiful hotel, perfect location, very clean, friendly staff
The bed could have been more comfortable
Amazing location and very nice hotel in the center of Amalfi
Our room was exposed to the sounds of the lobby, so we could not sleep very well, since we continued to hear voices of the staff, phones or other guests passing by our door.
The location was fantastic! The staff were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good with a great view.
The location, the cleanliness and the best assistance from the staff, special mention for Rita for being so nice and making us feel at home and helping us in whatever way she can.
Beautiful views from the hotel. Food at the restaurant was great. Provided directions to the hotel door were perfect.
Bathrooms and rooms were smaller than depicted. We would not stay here again. Considering the stairs and "hidden" location of the hotel, I would like to see the hotel offer a porter service. I would pay extra for it if it was offered.
Excellent location
Poor hospitability, rooms at the same floor with the restaurant which cause noise
Location, in front of the DUOMO
The room does not smell goodThe mini bar and water is not included and is expensive relatively!!!WiFi is so weakThe breakfast is so poor!!!!!!
Staff was wonderful. Location was in center of town. Views were great.
Breakfast was lacking. We went at various times and they always seemed to be low on the one hot item. Limited selections. Not knowing we had to carry luggage up two flights of stairs before we got to hotel was a surprise.
The staff was great and very nice. The location in the main square was a great launching point for excursions.
A/C was poor and often did not work at all. If you had to open the window, the square was always loud. There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the lobby , and multiple floors in the hotel without a lift. No porter. The rooftop restaurant was over price with arrogant staff.
The room was really nice and comfortable, at breakfast they served only scrambled eggs every day, but they have other options too, but for warm meals it was just the same eggs, the croissants were really nice
Convenient location to explore Amalfi coast . Comfy rooms good breakfast.
