Was outdated. Felt like a old peoples home.our room was on the main road so very noisey

Breakfast was excellent

The mattress was too soft. Needs changing as the edges were sagging.

Indoor pool and bright and spacious restaurant.

Could do with modernisation.

Spotlessly clean throughout, friendly staff. Swimming pool a bonus.

Bedroom was ‘tired’ and needed upgrading. No air conditioning and very hot nights so didn’t sleep well. Would have liked a mini fridge in room.Whilst there was a choice at breakfast time, felt there was room for improvement- a choice of milk, some fresh fruit other than melon and granola.

Comfy, good food and very friendly staff.

A little further from town then expected to walk to work each day

Staff very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Good selection. Enjoyed the pool. Plenty of quiet areas to sit inside and out should you wish to. Entertainment also if you wanted it.

Having to leave at the end of our trip!Lots of stairs to negotiate. This didn't bother either myself or my friend but if you had reduced mobility then could be a difficulty. Best to check for rooms not requiring stairs to access.

Excellent breakfast (as usual). Great room. Always enjoy the pool.

The staff were great and the food was very good.

Would have been nice to be closer to the centre. A lot of stairs to negotiate.

Just about everything, but it was the performance of the hotel staff which warranted the exceptional rating.Smart, polite and always smiling.

The first 2 days the breakfast was good but once the hotel filled up there wasn’t enough choice of food.

My husband had dinner on evening which was dreadful, over cooked. The rooms were small.

The food great couldn’t ask for better. Staff were lovely , so helpful and pleasant couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms were very clean and comfortable everything you needed. Entertainment was definately to our liking.

Rooms are very dated . Music at breakfast was very annoying .

Had a great stay at this hotel. Room was comfortable enough although could do with an upgrade. Staff were absolutely amazing. Fantastic breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant one night of our stay and wasn’t impressed with the food however, we ate in the lounge bar and the food was delicious. The pool was big enough but the floor of the pool could do with a new coat of paint as it looked like there was moss on the bottom. Local bus travel was good too. Overall we had a good time hotel just needs a few improvements

Pool needs a refurb, the buffet food in restaurant for dinner let it down as you could get better food in the lounge bar from the same kitchen.

The staff were very friendly but didnt explain a couple of things regarding dinner and buying drinks

PROBLEM WITH SHOWER ONLY FREEVIEW CHANELS IN OUR ROOM DANCEFLOOR BUT NO DJ . MORE CHOICE ON MENU . NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. COULD BE BETTER.
