Some things in the hotel were dated, needed a repair. Though in general I was satisfied about the stay

Friendly staff who went above and beyond . Cathy at the front desk was lovely and exceptionally helpful.

EASY BOOKING AND PRE CHECK IN. SO UPON ARRIVAL A QUICK HANDOVER OF KEY FOR THE ROOM. VERY PLEASANT RECEPTION STAFF WHO ALSO BOOKED US A TABLE FOR DINNER. ROOM WAS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, A VERY GOOD SIZE AND THE VIEW WAS FANTASTIC. DINNER MENU WAS VERY GOOD AND THE FOOD WAS NOT ONLY WELL PRESENTED BUT ALSO COOKED TO PERFECTION. BREAKFAST WAS INCREDIBLE, FRESH INGREDIENTS AND A VERY GOOD VARIETY TO SUIT EVERYONE. STAFF WERE VERY ATTENTIVE.

IF WE'RE BEING PICKY THERE WERE A FEW MINOR NIGGLES. THE BED WAS TWO SINGLES PUSHED TOGETHER SO THE GAP IN THE CENTRE WAS A PAIN. FOR A QUALITY HOTEL I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED A SHOWER SCREEN NOT A CURTAIN. ALSO A SOFT CLOSE TOILET SEAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD AS THE ROOM NEXT DOOR NOT ONLY HAD A NOISY SHOWER PUMP BUT ALSO WE KEPT HEARING A TOILET SEAT SLAM DOWN. AS WE PAID FOR THE ROOM ONLINE, WHEN WE HAD DINNER I TRIED TO PAY WITH CASH BUT WAS TOLD THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTED. WHICH I THINK IS POOR AND I COULD'VE ARGUED THE POINT AS IT IS A LEGAL TENDER WAY OF PAYING. BUT OBVIOUSLY IT WAS NOT THE STAFF MEMBERS FAULT. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED AS LEGALLY I COULD'VE REFUSED TO PAY AS THEY HAD REJECTED A LEGITIMATE FORM OF PAYMENT.

The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful regardless of their role. Hotel was clean and tidy throughout. and with a lovely view and balcony.

We had very windy weather and the windy howled around the bathroom air vent which was so loud I found it difficult to sleep on all nights. The wind can not be controlled by the hotel but the ventilation can be. The rooms were very stuffy at night but the hotel has no air conditioning. I could not have stayed there mid summer!! The Restaurant we felt was over priced.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choices and quality was good.

At 8pm on the Sunday on returning to the hotel restaurant manager was very dismissive when I asked if I could get some food. I had to order food to my room which was disappointing as it was a beautiful evening to sit on the terrace, where there was empty tables.

The view was lovely and we liked the fact that we could choose wether to have breakfast or not,and up to 10 am.

I realise there's nothing you can do about it but the room was a bit small. Also the access to thehotel was really tricky and parking difficult with small spaces.

Comfortable, clean, well maintained. Good location. Staff were friendly, helpful and pleasant.

I contacted the hotel to ask whether they could provide a gluten free breakfast (I am coeliac). I was assured that they could. I checked again on arrival and it was again confirmed. At breakfast next morning I was told that the gluten free bread had not been delivered that morning. GF bread delivery. Sunday morning. Before 0800. In Jersey… Next morning, no GF bread, but they do have crackers. I’d come prepared with bread this time and asked if they had a dedicated GF toaster in the kitchen. No, they do it in a Salamander (industrial grill, apparently). Is it dedicated GF? No… Never heard of cross contamination, I guess. If you can’t do it, and do it properly, please be honest about it.

Lovely modern hotel with good breakfast and stunning views. Staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable.

Tricky turn at the entrance to drive up to the car park.

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and well maintained. A flickering light bulb was replaced immediately. The views from the dining room and our room were spectacular. Large car park.

The only disappointment was the vegetarian main course that we requested for dinner, on our first night, although delicious, was very small.
