The property was clean, and the staff were friendly and professional.The food was excellent.We had dinner there each night.

There was not a good residents lounge, which could be somewhere else to sit when staying around the hotel.

We had booked half board for our wedding anniversary, so we didn't have to go looking for a restaurant on the day. The best thing we ever did. The meals were exceptional, large portions, extremely well cooked, and an extensive choice. The service was top class, all the staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. When we left, we had a late flight, and they allowed us to stay in the Resident's lounge until we were ready to go. We usually lookfor small, personal hotels where we are regarded as guests rather than numbers, and this is up with the best of them.The location is also ideal, in a quiet coastal village, with an excellent bus service into St. Helier every few minutes.

We liked everything about this hotel. All of the staff was welcoming and professional. It didn't take them long to learn what we liked! ( we were the Canadian pair that liked ice).

Stairs... but that couldn't be helped.

It’s harbour side situation - close to the buses, easy to go out for a walk after dinner & beautiful gardens

The entertainment in the bar downstairs was very noisy one evening

A late booking, within a month from booking and they had a single room available, room number 1. Nice view over Gorey Harbour, bed very comfortable, bathroom clean and functional. All in all, a tiny single room but functional.

Tiny single room, no dedicated space to leave a small suitcase. Car parking could be problematic with no private dedicated guest parking.

The location was exquisite. We could sit at the outdoor tables and look out over the bay. A castle is right around the corner. The breakfast was all you could want, and they even gave us a to-go bag when we had to miss breakfast.

The staff are delightful, cleanliness exceptional, food good and wholesome. Particularly like freshly cooked breakfast, with table service

Nothing negative to report

The breakfast had a choice, but the hot breakfast is excellent and all served with attention to detail by the very friendly staff.

The main block on an otherwise excellent week was there is no lift and having mobility problems the stairs to the second floor was rather difficult.

The location was excellent; right on the harbour in front of the castle, very picturesque. The hotel is very clean, lovely friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant serves excellent breakfast and the evening meals were absolutely delicious; very generous portions, even when requesting ‘a small portion’. We had DBB every day, which was excellent value for money. We had to leave to catch our flight home early morning and therefore couldn’t have breakfast; the restaurant manager asked if we would like to have a packed lunch instead. They couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. We will definitely return!

The breakfast was very nice,the sausages were very good quality,and the scrambled egg’s delicious,also the evening meal was really nice,compliments to the chef,all in all the staff were very friendly and helpful,I would highly recommend this hotel

The loud live music just below my room,I go to bed quite early,but I had to go to my sons room on the second floor until it stopped

I liked everything about it the rooms were clean,the staff was amazing,the food ,the sea views was beautiful and it was close to transport and the live music

The Dolphin, is a fabulous hotel to go to when exploring the beautiful island of Jersey. It was very comfortable and we had a double room overlooking the Marina. The staff are very friendly. The bed comfortable and really clean.

The shower wasn’t great
