The Moorings Hotel & Restaurant

Cozy, friendly feel, which made it all feel personal and warm. Nothing was too much bother for the staff. Quiet and comfortable room for the evening and no rush was needed the next morning.

Only downside is trying to work out parking. Perhaps a permit from the hotel on the car could be looked into.

A gem of a hotel with stunning sea views and exceptional service. My friends who visited and who stayed there loved their rooms and the delicious breakfast. Thank you!

Liked everything!

Nice hotel in a fantastic location. All staff were exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. We ate at Maddies for breakfast and one dinner, all of which were first class. We had a balcony room with sea view, which was lovely.

Room needed a little TLC in places (chips in the bath, balcony door tricky to open) but very minor.

The location was perfect ...Staff were so friendly food was excellent probably one of best places ive stayed literally over some supposed 5 star hotels .Really comfortable ,real people and very accomadateing .

Matthew and Iselin and their incredible staff made our family feel welcomed and valued over the Christmas period. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped rooms with high quality food. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return

Nothing to add here

Warm and friendly greeting by the owners when we arrived. Ate an exceptional Sunday roast with friendly and attentive waiting staff, lovely ambience in the restaurant and the decor was superb. Room on the top floor was cosy with fabulous views over the harbour. Very clean with plenty of space and a comfy bed. Breakfast the next morning was also excellent with so much choice! Also loved the open fire in the bar area - ideal for a drink before dinner.

What a location! What atmosphere! The looming Mont Orgueil castle above and the peaceful harbour just outside the windows yet so easy to access all that St Helier and Jersey has to offer. Everyone was wonderful.

Small & friendly boutique hotel it a spectacular location right under the Castle. Really comfortable rooms with tea & coffee facilities. There is a great Bar & restaurant .

Really friendly and helpful. Stylish rooms which were spotlessly clean and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. A fantastic bar and restaurant. Lovely personal touches like sun hats, beach bags and thermos flasks of fresh milk.

A personal preference, but the bathroom in my single room didn’t work for me - no bathtub and only a fixed overhead shower.

They gave us a super friendly welcome and we loved the little extra touches like fresh Jersey milk in little flasks. They were also really accommodating when we needed to adjust our dinner reservation on a busy Saturday night. The food in the restaurant was divine

Nothing, it was lovely

The first thing to strike us was the lovely warm welcome on arrival. Our room was great with a good view over the little harbour and across the bay.There's a nice little bar, and choice of two restaurants; Maddie's for really excellent homemade sourdough pizzas and the main restaurant. We ate in both and and would say they excelled - both the food and the service.Breakfast was equally good with load of choice.There was also a really friendly goodbye from the owners, Iselin and Matthew.We really can't wait to go back.

The Moorings Hotel is beautiful. We had a wonderful stay here. The Owners were so kind and welcoming. The food was amazing and all the staff helpful and courteous. We are returning next Summer.

Great room with an excellent view, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very high quality.
