Best Western Royal Hotel

Breakfast was outstanding Stuff was lovely made you feel very welcome and I would definitely come back.

Maybe we could’ve stayed on the bottom floor as we struggled a bit on the stairs, but we didn’t start. We didn’t say that so it wasn’t your fault.

Room was comfortable and very clean

I had a full English for breakfast first morning, it was perfect, second morning same breakfast, but I thought I was in a different hotel,after asking I was brought what was missing on a side plate, third morning same breakfast,not consistent.

Staff was both competent and very friendly. At our arrival, we were made to feel very welcome.

The bed was too narrow for a comfortable night sleep.

Staff, cleanliness and value

Not the properties fault but road noise was an issue for our little ones late at night.

The staff were very polite and couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel kept you updated with various emails and messages before and throughout the stay.

Our room was noisy as opposite a takeaway and a lot of road noise.

Nice clean room, great bathroom. Food served in Bar. Great Breakfast.

Loud parties in adjacent sun terrace and smokers directly outside our room.Most meals in Bar were very good, however, fillet steak was uneatable, despite complaining to staff no action was taken and we were charged full price, took the edge off an otherwise excellent dining experience

Central location, good room size, plenty of storage space, sizeable bathroom with good shower and bath, staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast, room opening onto roof terrace

Room was rather warm and difficult to regulate room temperature to a comfortable level for sleeping

Great location with amazing staff that cater to your every need. Lovely breakfast and super comfortable beds. Thank you to the amazing staff, Caroline and Phillister, along with a two male staff who I did not get the names of.

Family room was a nice size, towels, body wash/shampoo, teas and coffees all provided.The bar next door was very nice and food was good.

Breakfast very expensive at nearly £18 pp per day

I found the pillows uncomfortable & on our last morning I only wanted some scrambled eggs on toast & coffee but I had to pay full breakfast price. There was no way I could eat £17.60 worth of eggs, toast & coffee. I know with lots of guests it’s hard to break things down but I felt I could have just paid the continental breakfast price.

Solid and quiet. Excellent staff and great food.

No air con and it was further to the bus station that I anticipated but once we found our way not a problem for us.

Good location and everywhere in St Helier within walking distance.Nice bar. Great breakfast.

Long walk to room and floorboards creek a lot around the room.

Nice room, not super large but bigger than a lot of UK hotel rooms, which are generally miserably small. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

I had to lug my suitcase up and down a lot of stairs. Although there is a lift, it didn't take me to my room. This old hotel is a bit of a rabbit warren.Breakfast is overpriced so I didn't partake.

The staff they were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good value

All the staff were very friendly and helpful , especially in Bar 27 and the food was very good and generous portions
