L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa

We have stayed at L’Horizon so many times over the years. The location is just stunning-perfect!The staff, well I cannot say enough about them-BEST HOTEL STAFF EVER! Really a great team, they really go above and beyond with respect, professionalism and customer service.

Unfortunately over time, the building itself is becoming tired and there is now a lot of maintenance which needs to be done before this amazing hotel is ruined beyond fixing.Carpets lifting, roof leaking, gutters blocked, wallpaper lifting, screws coming loose, one lift not working, the floor in our room felt unstable in places, door key system broken to room-plate fell off.DVDs available but no player in room, no internet access on tv.These things do not take away from the beauty of the place but in time, these things could sadly be the demise. I truly hope the Hand Picked chain can turn this around asap.I would still recommend and I would still return!

The menu is a tiny bit limited for dinner choices. A fairly compact set choices two or three courses was a little surprising given this is a high end hotel.

Location and swimming pool

Heating broken and not working in all 3 of our rooms unable to be fixed during our stay.Master switch not working in my room, so just left lights on. Only 1 restaurant open with only 3 main choices. Service patchy.

Great location. Great breakfast.

Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours. We had music blaring through the wall all evening and into the night. I tried to report this to reception by phone at about 00:20, but nobody answered. Then at about 00:30 the night manager knocked on their door and told them to turn the music off. They did, but they spent the next half hour shouting and swearing (at us, we believe). We didn't get to sleep until about 01:30.

Sadly spa facilities sauna and steam room closed.....grill restaurant closed but it is off season so fair enough

The horel is excelently situated. View from our bedroom was superb. The only problem with the hotel was the price of the food which we felt was a bit high = to be fair the price of meals generally in Jersey is high but £90 + for an evening meal for 2 seems a bit high

Service during breakfast was excellent.

Service during Grill restaurant dinner was very poor.Sauna setting has nothing to do with the real sauna I know, this was a disappointment.

Very child friendly. Appreciated the small touches such as mini robe, milk and cookies. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

Pool was a bit cold! Jacuzzi not working

My only criticism is chairs in the lounge area really need to be updated. Look very tired and dated would make such a difference

The room was ok but one of the bath towels was dirty and one of the side lamps were blinking all the time. Also the balcony was in really bad condition, rusty and dirty

Great location on beautiful beach. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast and evening meals. Some good restaurants nearby as well. There was a problem with suite we'd booked but they moved us immediately. Spacious suite with balcony and great view of beach. Close to airport and had chargers for ev hire car - although we didn't actually need to charge it.

Breakfast was excellent each morning with a very good choice of food, cooked perfectly. The room was large with plenty of storage and the view from the balcony was amazing. The hotel is located right on St Brelades Bay, offering perfect views. There are a few options within walking distance for food and drinks and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance.All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.

Food and drinks at the hotel were quite expensive. Other than that, everything was great.

Super clean, comfy and amazing views. The spa and pool were amazing. Our favourite part was the staff who were all super super friendly and welcoming!
