Absolutely amazing hotel, amazing views, food, bar, staff and hotel room was outstanding

The room and its views were excellent.The food at breakfast and for dinner was cooked exactly as requested and nicely presentedThe choices of wines etc., was more than adequate

Parking of cars was acceptable but expect would be somewhat difficult in the height of the summer season

The view above the bay is incredible! Such beautiful surroundings, a mini paradise. The room had a sea view and was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was warm and powerful. The walk in wardrobe was excellent for storage of clothes and there were lots of drawers available too. The tea making facilities and bottle of water was a nice touch. The restaurant provided a wide variety of food to suit everyone's tastes, Jose our waiter was friendly and gave good advice about the island. The hotel is well decorated and there are comfortable seating areas to relax. Even though the hotel was coming to the end of this year's season it did not impact the quality of service. The bus stop outside is ideal to get around the island.

Lovely hotel with direct beach access down some steps. Room was lovely with a balcony. Very comfortable overall.

My room was not accessible by lift and I had quite a walk through corridors and doors and eventually two flights of stairs. I was travelling solo with a large heavy suitcase. Perhaps this could be mentioned on the website as I would have picked a room with lift access had I been aware. Also one quite strange observation was when I arrived at the hotel just before 12pm. I was simply going to leave my luggage at the hotel and go out. I was told that my room was actually ready but should I want to do an early check in I would have to pay an additional fee, from memory 25 pounds. I have paid additional fees if wanting to check in early when making a booking but I have never been asked for a fee when a room has been ready, usually check in is just offered early. This isn't a complaint but I don't really see what the charge is for.

The location and the friendly staff

The rooms were very tired and the shower was extremely uncomfortable

I booked this on behalf of my parents. They loved the location and the room and they said it was very clean and comfortable. The Reception Staff were very welcoming including the manager Jason and it was a nice breakfast.

The Restaurant Manager was unnecessarily rude and as my mother is disabled, they weren't really able to go and eat somewhere else. The rest of the staff were marvellous and if I had been there I would have complained about him, but my parents didn't want to make a fuss as they were there for a week. Other than him, my parents loved their stay and would stay again if they were in Jersey.

We had a lovely stay here. The location was stunning and being able to walk along the beach daily was ideal. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant!

While most of the staff were very pleasant, the concierge in particular, was really not friendly. Despite staying for 7 nights, other than showing us to our breakfast table every morning, we got no other conversation or acknowledgement, which is strange considering the length of our stay. And we are friendly people who enjoy a little chat! Shame, as it let the place down.

The breakfast was good and it was a good size room

The gluten free choices were limited and could be improved with regard to continental choices. The room and bathroom were in need of an upgrade. The view although classed as a sea view was disappointing as we didn’t expect to be on the side of the hotel it would have been better if we had a room fully looking out at the sea. If the description had been clearer maybe we wouldn’t have been disappointed.

The location was perfect, and the room was absolutely incredible — clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. What truly made the stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Their warm hospitality really stood out and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made the room a bit warm at times.

The two bed apartment meant we could relax together in the living/kitchen area, watch TV, share snacks. Very convenient for the steps down to the beach.

Poorly equipped, minimal crockery, no consumables for using dishwasher, washing machine or cleaning toilets (washing up liquid was provided). Toaster didn’t work, Furniture very tired - drawers slumped, edges peeling etc. and no storage whatsoever in small bedroom with bunk beds. Not even hooks on wall or shelves, which would have been so easy. Cleaning staff came in but only (sometimes) emptied bins and left via patio door leaving it unlocked. We told desk staff about this but only on one day did they lock the door, which was right beside the public steps. Bathrooms not cleaned but nothing for us to use to do it. Hotel needs to decide whether this ‘4 star’ apartment is or is not serviced and equip appropriately. No good telling guests it will be upgraded over the winter!!

Excellent view from room along the beach. Room was clean and the breakfast very good with pleanty of choice.All the staff were excellent.

Bathroom extractor fan not working and unfortunately made for a 'dampish' atmosphere in the room after showers.

Really nice hotel with friendly staff. So convenient and close to the beach and bus stop.

The work surface in our room was rather pitted in places and not in good order.

The view was amazing. The terrace is beautiful.

Poor customer service overall. Checking in, the manager sat behind his desk on his phone ignoring us, while we waited to check in. Staff morale seemed low.At breakfast. there were two staff members taking orders, It took over an hour to take our food order. We repeatedly asked to place an order, no apology for the late service. Checkout was no better, nobody on reception, eventually when a staff member came I was provided with a bill for drinks we never consumed. I strongly recommend that the owners take time to train staff in customer service.
