Pros +
- It's the third time I've stayed here and I'll stay again. My room was small but more than adequate for what I needed. The buffet breakfast is good value for money and good quality with a wide variety of food on offer. The location is superb right across the road from the beach!I really love it here. They have an outdoor pool but I didn't try it out.
- Fine view from the room balcony. Decent room facilities. Staff friendly and informative.
- The room was nice and bright, very quiet , and the bathroom was clean and modern . Breakfast was a buffet, but everything was fresh and the food well cooked.
Cons -
- The small ironing board is tricky to use and you have to improvise. The toaster in the dining room is a little slow and needs to be slightly higher in temperature as you have to put the bread in twice to get it toasted properly; however, these things won't stop me from coming again.
- Disappointed that 'a la carte' wasn't available on Friday as they had a 'Friday Feast' promotion for £39 that sounded fine, but too much for my requirements, and no other option. Had to eat at a nearby Bistro instead.
- I would have liked a comfortable chair in the room. All we had was a wooden seat for the dressing table, and I do like to sit and read in the evening.

Location, comfortable room, great breakfast
The TV and room appliances need updating
The staff has to be first talked about as everyone is very welcoming and even when busy, take the time to talk to you and ensure that everything is going well. Very quick response to any request or service.Sea view room was great. Amazing view, great bathroom, very comfortable bed. Breakfast has plenty to choose from, even for vegetarians. We only had one diner at the hotel's restaurant and it was to the mark. I would definitely come again to the hotel for another visit in Jersey. The bus stop is just a few steps away to go to town and a short ride. Thank you so much for making our stay as pleasant as we could have hoped for.
It is a property over a hundred years old so that being said it has to be considered that there are steps and narrow lift but the hotel has been well maintained and all the areas have been well designed.
Bill was incorrect by over £200 which got sorted out but a bad mistake
I had a 2 night stay in this lovely hotel. It's in a brilliant location right across the road from the beach with beautiful views. Sitting in the hotel drinking coffee in the morning looking at the sea is just so peaceful. The buffet breakfast was fabulous with a large variety.I had a single room and although it was small, it was clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. The shower was ace!The staff here are really friendly. There are lifts if you are on an upper floor if you prefer to use it rather than walk.I would definitely stay here again.
Nothing really.
Spacious rooms , kind staff , nice room service, good breakfast.Henry at the reception was brilliant , with kindness and active response.Tracy at the restaurant was very kind and satisfied our needs (specially with 3 active kids)
In our last day , there was a party last till midnight, so disturbed the kids a bit ,
I would like to thank the staff at the Ommaroo hotel, they made the stay for my family and I, fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful, the location was literally opposite the beach which, made for some memorable beach days for the kids. There are some exceptional restaurants nearby.
Nothing, we loved it all.
Great bar with a view, nice rooms, location and parking
The location of the hotel was fantastic right by the beach. The room we had was spacious and also overlooked the beach. We had a balcony with a seating area, I can imagine sitting there on a summer evening just watching the sunset over the sea.! Perfect. Breakfast was a good variety and tasted delicious. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
I cannot think of anything we didn’t like.
Great breakfast.Friendly front of house.Good shower. Good night sleep.Great location in front of beach and 15mins walk to town.
The staff were fabulous
Rooms could do with a little update, especially the towels and bedding.
Our room faced the sea. We had a balcony which our bed was facing so we woke up looking at the sea <3
It was a little bit further away from the centre than I thought it would be but I understand it was cheaper than the hotels in the centre and there was still beautiful and amazing things right facing and next to our hotel (bit where the sea is turned into a pool for wild swimming and greenery/views of the castle.)
Location
Windows in bathroom would not open had to highlight this to staff - not enough cups or glasses in the room for a family - only 2 of each - when mentioned the problem with the bathroom windows we were offered a far superior room which was empty !!??? Why were we not given this in the first instance
Breakfast was buffet and cooked was great choice. Location is amazing not far from town and lovely views from the hotel across to Havre des Pas. The room was very clean, however, some grouting around the bottom of 5he shower would have made it look so much better, and the rubber on the shower door was hanging off. I did advise staff and hopefully they will put this right.
Breakfast and location
We were told we’d get an ocean view room but didn’t. Room we had was not large.
Breakfast was superb, a wide variety of great food well set out for guests in a large relaxing room.
Lovely welcoming staff, very available and hands on manager, great location opposite the Lido even with the busy road in front, bus stop in front for easy travel around Jersey, enjoyed Coast restaurant and bar service, airy and light family room.
Access to swimming pool without changing rooms, lmited cheese and charcuterie and no fresh fruit or juice for breakfast.
a reasonable breakfast and well situated, a good view out of the front. Staff very friendly
Price expensive for what it is. Room felt like a university / student room. Clean but spartan. Expensive for what it is. Overlooking car park which was very noisy
