Maison Gorey Hotel

The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, always happy and genuinely friendly.

Only downside was the four flights of stairs.

Big room with a nice outlook of trees right outside my window. Older style but spacious room and hallways. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Parking right outside. The village had great eating and drinking options and even a laundry and dry cleaners. 5 minutes walk from the beach and historic castle

On the east coast of the island so it would be more difficult without a car.

Full English breakfast was good. Good location as near bus stop and village

Hotel was a little worn but didn’t affect the comfort

Friendly staff. A good sized room with good bathroom. A reasonable choich for breakfast including 'English'

Not the fault of the hotel, we should have asked for a lower floor room as we we're the furthest away and my wife has some mobility issues. No lift

The location of the hotel is perfect.if you have a car-there is parking, if you use buses, the bus station is 2 min walk from the hotel.The staff is very helpful and nice.The hotel is beautiful, in a small neighbourhood. There is a place to eat just down the street in the old bank hotel, a minimarket and fish &chips 5 min from the hotel The room is loveley, the bed very comfortable, and the shower as PERFECT! WATER PRESSURE &TEMP. sooo good. If i could, i've taking it with me.There is a beach 5 min walk and the town is 15 min walk

The breakfast was not up to the level of the hotel

Lovely hotel in a quiet location with friendly and helpful staff . Rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. A great breakfast is included in room rate.There is a bar in rhe village which serves food (the hotel only does breakfast).or a 10 minute stroll along to Girey pier offers quite a few good options. Buses into St Helier are very frequent and the stops are just a couple of minutes away..Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Room was very warm to the point sleeping was difficult.. A plug in fan was provided.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location, spacious room. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable beds. Water pressure in shower was amazing really woke us up in the morning ?

Furnishings quite dated for my taste but all clean and tidy.

We have stayed here 3 times over the past few years. Unfortunately this time, it seemed to have gone downhill slightly. On arrival no real warm welcome, just a few comments about breakfast and then shown to our room.Room was adequate, although bed was quite hard, but that’s just our personal preference. Bathroom and shower ok. Poor wi-fi. We couldn’t get parked on any of the 3 nights we were there, so had to park locally.Breakfast was reasonable, but the same each day. I have to compliment the chef as he was constantly coming out and checking the hot food buffet and topping up. Also the 2 ladies waiting were very good, clearing away plates etc and topping up coffee.Good restaurants 10 minutes walk away.On departing hotel, nobody to check you out on reception.

Reception. It is always nice to get a warm and friendly welcome with information given. Also this applies to your departure too. Customer service is so important.

The property is well placed in Gorey just a very short walk from the beach and amenities. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean with good decor and furnishings.

The room was at the back of the property and totally overlooked so we needed to keep the blinds closed it was dark. For this reason we would not stay again. The continental breakfast was lacking choice and quality. Reminds me of old school B&B!

WiFi was very bad, and we urgently needed it when our plane home was cancelled.

rest of hotel was tired and old fashion breakfast was cold. beside see one member of reception staff on the day we started our holiday, we never saw another member of staff any time of day on any other day besides the breakfast staff.

Great location in Gorey, next to beach and walking distance from the castle. Good sized room, quiet and friendly staff.

Not an issue for us, but some may struggle without a lift.

Excellent location of hotel in Gorey, 5 minute walk to beach, close to shops, take aways and resaurants and on very near bus stop. Lovely room which was cleaned daily, water and towels replenished and car parking facilities. Very well run hotel. Great breakfasts served daily. Even a dining room where we were able to take food back to heat up, with all cutlery and crockery supplied. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the very friendly staff and management of this hotel. I would deifinitely use this hotel again. We had a lovely experience in Jersey, made all the better by our stay at the Mainson Gorey hotel.

Everything staff friendly breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked...room was quiet and very big and comfortable... location was great...

Good quality hotel , staff more than helpful , good selection for breakfast.. clean tidy rooms ..your free to come and go as you please .

Only thing really and it was a small thing was the WiFi not string enough , sometimes you get it sometimes you don't, but not to worrying.
