Hotel De Normandie

The room was comfortable, staff were friendly. The breakfast had a large selection and the dining was always very tidy

I found the pool cold and some of the areas around the pool and changing rooms a bit grubby

Pool was a bit smelly and dirty

close to the beach, beds very comfortable, food was lovely

rooms need updating, pool very dark carpark very poor.

Hotels and its facilities were top notch. Location was great, overlooking the ocean. The food was also quite good. Great swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

Customer service at the restaurant was subpar. We waited for more than 10 minutes to be seated, and when finally seated had to ask for the menu as no one attended to us, let alone checked if everything was alright. Asked for drinking water that never came.The swimming pool area and the sauna needs to be cleaned daily.

We had to move room 3 times before we found a clean room Hairs on the bed and in the bed bed clothes creased and off colour

The location is fab Staff lovely

The pool says it’s heated, but it was freezing.Our room was very small without a bath.I think £15 for breakfast was a lot and £10 for a 5 year old.

The hotel is well looked after and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed.Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is across the road from the beach, with a bus stop right outside which takes you to Gorey and St Helier. St Helier was about a 15 minute walk away.

Shower in my room was practically unusable due to low pressure. Bed is uncomfortable and mattress deforming.Dinner at the restaurant was overpriced and food quality below par.

The area was interesting. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

The hotel is very old, has a run down feel about it. The bathrooms are very basic, no heating. Being winter it was cold when using it.

Brilliant breakfast. Room was spacious and a really nice amount of tea/coffee and milk provided too. Also must say the swimming pool and jacuzzi/sauna were all spot on too. Also there is a corner shop opposite that's open 7 days a week till 9pm I think most days and very handy if you need anything.
