Hotel Butterfly

Room is great, spacious. Breakfast is also great, and the staff are very friendly.The location: very strategic and near to the train station, the hotel is just behind McDonald's, easy to find!

We enjoyed seeing the goats on the hill outside and behind our room. The room was very good and the location to the train station was excellent. We appreciated getting a shuttle to and from the Hotel as we had several pieces of luggage.

We could have used a small microwave oven in the room. Some non-dairy options for breakfast would have been nice as I have a lactose deficiency issue. I brought my own oatmeal and only ate some sausages and fruit from the breakfast offered. I was unable to eat any bread or pastries or eggs as they are all prepared with milk or butter.

The room and the view were amazing. The breakfast is excellent too and the staff was nice. I strongly recommend .

We couldn’t get an early checkin, but not their fault.

Room was very clean, spacious, and nicely designed. The room was quiet/more sound proof than other hotels in the area which was nice. It’s a little bit further from ski lifts than other options but the location is still convenient as it’s right in the middle. Service was friendly. Balcony was large and nice to have. Appreciated the late breakfast hours (7am-11am). I stayed at a 4 star hotel the night before and actually much preferred my experience and stay at Hotel Butterfly.

Hotel will provide the room only at check in time @3. Even though room are already ready before check in. Its was done with every person who are check in with me @1 pm. They informed all the people that room will be ready by 3 only

Many things, cleaning was not good and there was a strong noise coming from the heater in in the way that they couldn’t sleep and the receptionist closes at 11 so no one to call to solve the problem. It was a tough night.

Spotless, cozy, and spacious rooms. Great breakfast and staff. Great location, a short walk from the main station (very easy to go as a large group with many pieces of luggage and two small dogs).

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

The power in the room keeps going out. We were not able to reach anyone at night even when we use the emergency number provided in the hotel voicemail message. We had to wait until the morning until a staff member can restore power, and I asked where the circuit breaker was so that if it happens again at night, I can reset it.

The location was great! Just a couple blocks from the train station and a block from shops and restaurants. Staff was amazing, especially Enrique at the hotel bar. The rest of the staff was very helpful & friendly.

The luggage holding area was the billiards room, which wasn't secure.

Hotel is situated close to the Zermatt train station on a much quieter side street instead of the main street which is very loud and crowded. Rooms were very modern, clean, and comfortable. Loved the balcony with the flower boxes. Breakfast was wonderful with a large variety of choices and delicious breads. Highly recommend.

Restaurant and bar wasn’t open, even though there were a lot of guests. Hallway rugs a bit worn out.

Our room has been recently renovated with high quality materials, definitely exceeding my expectation.The location is very nice, 5 minutes walk from the train station.

Location. The balcony was so beautiful with flowers on the railing. The view of the mountains was amazing and I could see the stars at night from my bed. The rain shower was amazing and the room and the bathroom were spacious. Lots of storage for the luggage too. Loved the afternoon tea at the lobby! A wonderful chance to mingle if you want with fellow travellers

I personally didn’t like how warm the room was. Being a Canadian, heated floors and warm rooms were a little too much for me for mid October.
