Hotel ZERMAMA Zermatt

An amazing stay - so memorable & would highly recommend. Staff was so kind to us, everything was so easy to get to, glad that they had a breakfast option & the ski lockers were convenient! Loved the fondue on the patio & the fur jackets

Everything was great - minor suggestion could be more access to temp control in the room (we just opened our window, so it was no problem).

The hotel location and room is great .

I was asked upon check in that I would like cheese fondue to be served which I was not mistaken hearing complimentary from staff but actually it is not. It is 45 CHF Charged which I will not order if I was clearly informed . I understand there is no free thing in this world so this is the experience I have paid to learn. It is not about money but it is about how staff should make clear explanation to guest. My daughter forgot her overcoat in the room after we have checked out , the staff did not even send mail or call to inform. We did realize after a few days passed . It would be nice if they do not ignore this.

the best location for those who ski, right in front of Sunnega. Nice bar with live music, very helpful staff, close to the village with shops.

everything was perfect

It is a very nice hotel, the proximity to the train station is a great advantage. The bed is very comfortable, the view very beautiful and all the staff very friendly. On the way out they offered me a free service to take me to the train station by taxi. They have a store at the entrance to buy souvenirs from Zermatt. A highly recommended place for a great stay in Zermatt

The location was amazing, along with a great view of The Matterhorn. The staff was super helpful, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team. The room was spotlessly clean upon our arrival and was brought back to that same state each day. I've already recommended Hotel Zermama to some family members who live in Switzerland.

Mama! Fashionable and modern hotel with stunning views of the train, the Matterhorn, and a front row seat for people watching. The staff are world class and you will love the outrageous faux fur deck coats with matching slippers.

What is up with the hidden Floor 5?????

Lovely stay in Zermama! The hotel and the rooms are so chic. We loved the decor. The balcony was a huge plus, we loved sitting outside and listening to the river nearby. The location was perfect, less than 7 minute walk to the train station and the grocery store. We felt very centrally located without it being noisy. Front desk was very accommodating and answered all of our questions.

Thoughtful touches like tea and coffee in the room along with slippers. Breakfast staff was great. Roberto at the front desk was always happy to provide nearby restaurant suggestions, which always delivered. For dog lovers there is Ronny who is the unofficial mascot and loves a good scratch behind the ears <3.

Sometimes there were smokers right below our balcony. We just closed the door and it solved the issue.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful, the room was clean, and the location is perfect! My only complaint is that my room was on the first floor with a window that looked directly into another hotel as well as a train with no blinds. I asked for a different room being a solo traveler and unfortunately they were booked for the night. Overall, i had a great experience and would stay here again!

Limited space in room

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was excellent — the design was beautiful and thoughtfully done, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The staff were amazing, especially Margarita, who was incredibly kind and helpful. I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Very close to the train station, very kind staff. The room is fantastic with a nice view of the Matter Horn.

There is something wrong with the roof top window, we couldn’t open it.

The hotel has great rooms, well-sized, clean and decent sized bathrooms, very good meals and overall a very good experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Excellent location right beside the lifts

Breakfast became a bit “same” after couple of days and no good choice of cooked breakfastRooms were very comfortable but very small and bathrooms were internal

The food at the hotel was the most quality food we had the entire trip. Sinner and breakfast were exceptional. Drinks were some of the best cocktails we have had.

Beds not good for friends staying in same room. Too small and close together. Would have preferred more linens on bed.

Location is excellent- right beside ski hire shop and the Sunnega lift

Breakfasts were a little boring

The location was perfect. Interiors, cozy. Good design aesthetics. Breakfast was consistently good. Liked the special order blueberry muffins. And the reception/concierge so friendly, easygoing and professional. Best they had a dog named Ronnie.who is the sweetest!

We would've loved: a queen/king instead of 2 single beds cobbled.together, a tub and chairs with adequate back rest. But otherwise it was a great stay and oh, maybe Zermatt.can have sauna/steam rooms for weary skiers! ?
