Chesa Valese by Sisters Zermatt

Location was nice.

Not a true 4‑star experience. The room was tiny, had a spider web, and was unbearably hot even with the heating off. They also failed to pick us up from the station despite confirming it.

Whether it was staff from the restaurant, housekeeping, the drivers, or reception, they were all very friendly and helpful.

Nothing. I do wish the triple room was a bit bigger. It was a tight fit walking around from one side of the room to the other. Since most people staying in this room probably have kids, the door to the bathroom should be less see through.

Had a ski accident; went to hospital. Staff waited up 'till midnight to let my wife in and fed her. Next day, the bellman/driver helped her pack up our ski bag, drove my wife to the train, and helped her until the ski bag was shipped. 5 stars for staff!

Ask for a room on 3rd or 4th floor for better view of Matterhorn

Breakfast was amazing. The gentleman that was there every morning was so accommodating and friendly. The staff was very helpful. Location to everything was perfect. Would stay again!

Room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the matterhorn. bathroom was also spacious and very nice. Wonderful free breakfast every morning with friendly staff. Free shuttle to and from the train station. Great value!

The rooms are very cosy and the whole hotel has a cosy and cute atmosphere.The wellness area is beautiful and has a very calming ambiance. Missing a jacuzzi but it is not the most important. The breakfast is nicely presented and does justice to the atmosphere and attention to detail seen in the hotel. There maybe be a menu of some special options on request.The staff is very kind and helpful and it feels like there is a good ambiance in the hotel between the staff.The location is great!

Wished I stayed longer

We stayed in the Matterhorn room to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was spotless and well-equipped, including a minibar stocked with soft drinks and beer. We especially loved the balcony waking up each morning, enjoying a coffee with the beautiful view, was incredibly relaxing.During our stay, we also enjoyed the sauna and steam bath, which added an extra touch of comfort and wellness to our trip. The breakfast was another highlight: everything was fresh, and there were plenty of different options to choose from.

The staff were helpful and answered my questions even before I arrived at the property. The location was close to the busy area of Zermatt but far enough that it’s not noisy at night. The breakfast was really good as well. The views in the room were great, although I can’t really tell if it’s the same if you would have stayed on a lower floor with a balcony.

The room was great for families but the loft/second bedroom and the second bathroom were quite dark compared to the downstairs portion of the room. The balcony could have also had some bit of lighting at night if guests would like to stay outside.

We all have excellent experiences here. With amazing Matterhorn view, love everything in room, breakfast is also pretty good. Location to shopping, to anywhere we like to go. Chesa Valese is a hotel with full mark, we will come again in next Zermatt travel.

Stayed at the Daniela sister property as Chesa has flooding.

Rooms have very low ceilings and are hot.

We had such a wonderful stay here. From the moment we arrived, the front desk ladies made us feel very welcome with their warm and professional service. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety, and our room was comfortable with a lovely balcony. Add in the unbeatable location, and this place really checked all the boxes for us that we ended up spending an extra night. Loved the little extra touches that made it feel special like the chocolate in the room or the mini bar with sodas and water. Highly recommend! ?

The staff, style, ambiance, ,spa, location. Love waking up with a Matterhorn view! Everything was perfect! The breakfast was also nice. Thank you to Luna & Melani for being so friendly and for answering all our questions.

The hot tub should be open 24/7.

Place is exceptionally clean. Roos are spacious and well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is friendly. Place is well wort the cost which is very reasonable.

Wonderful staff, great location, delicious breakfast and tidbits (the cheese platter was enough for dinner). Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable.
