Hotel Cima

Everything about this hotel was great. Check in was easy by phone. Close by all nearby attractions. Hotel staff was great too.

The notice doesn't tell you that no one will be there. It's very confusing. Signs say keep away. It looks like a ghost hotel. People around didn't know about the place either. And if you decide to go somewhere else, they won't give you your money back

Had we had a different balcony we could have had a better view of the Matterhorn but unforutenly a tree was in the way. Our view was of the courtyard and next building over as well as a playground which unforuetnly made the stay not as peaceful as we would have liked. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom worked fine. The location is a 5 minute walk from the train station which was perfect and is a very short walk from the main road of town with all the stores and restaurants.

Very basic. But considering the price, no complaints

Internet availability and the closeness to the train station

Everything except for the internet connection. Terrible! , no toiletries except toilet paper in the bathroom. The surrounding areas is not lit! Scary! The inside of the hotel has no proper lighting, instruction to call receptionist has no English translation. The room has flying little insects. There not even a hot water to drink. No fresh Towels , were not readily given. No packets of coffee or sugar for gratis in the morning. No refrigerator just to keep my medicine injections. Very poor amenities, and the lady in the house kept on saying “ only for sleep “

Location was fabulous. Wrap around balcony had superb view of The Matterhorn.

The hotel is located close to the train station, just 3 minutes walk which is very convenient.

The WiFi didn’t work and there was no staff around most of the time to help out. The bathroom was very strange.

Very quiet (felt like we were the only people in the hotel). Great to have a balcony and view with the Matterhorn just behind trees. Very close to amenities/transportation.

I probably missed it on booking, but was disappointed to see that the ensuite was shower and basin only, with a separate shared toilet. Could have been a little cleaner. Would have felt a little insecure if stayed on own.

Our room had a nice balcony with a great view of the Matterhorn. Although the building is quite old, our room was very clean and well furnished. We even had a shower in the room, though the toilet was down the hallway. Checking in was absolutely hassle free, and the manager was very nice. The hotel is literally two minutes away from the main train station and trains going up the mountain, but it is still very quiet and perfectly secluded with its own back courtyard.

The ground floor entrance and lobby of the building had a rather funky smell, perhaps due to the recent heavy rains and the age of the building. but the upstairs rooms were fine.

the location is not far from train station in Zermatt,

it seems there is no reception, however, there is telephone to contact the person to inform which is your room and just take the key.

The room view is nice because you can see Matterhorn. the only concern that I got is the bed. The cushion is a little bit old that there are some uneven spots in the bed. But we enjoyed our stay because the staff are great.

The room was comfortable and excellent value for the price. There is a great view of the matterhorn from the balcony. It was clean and also quite close to the train station.

It was a self check in so we didn’t get much information when arriving. The wifi is only accessible in common areas.
