Right across from the Sunegga Mountain Cable Car, this 3-star hotel in Zermatt offers traditional grilled food, free Wi-Fi, and a terrace. Zermatt Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. The rooms at the non-smoking Hotel Cheminee include a flat-screen TV, sitting area, and country-style décor. Many have a balcony, and some enjoy views of Mount Matterhorn. Rich buffet breakfasts and half-board meals are available at the Cheminee’s cozy, candlelit restaurant. The terrace provides scenic views. The Klein Matterhorn Mountain Cable Car is half a mile from the Cheminee Hotel. Ski storage facilities are provided by the Cheminee.

- Really the best possible position for skiing with family. Just 10m from entrance ro Sunnegga, it could not be better. Very cosy 3 star hotel on perfect location. Less than 10 min short walk to the center of the town
- The breakfast was buffet style with a large selection of fresh food.The staff were friendly and welcoming . There is a heated boot room and ski storage area. The Sunnegga lift is opposite the hotel and the ski bus stop about 50m away.

- A kettle in the room for hot drinks would have been nice.
