Matterhorn Lodge Boutique Hotel & Apartments

the room was lovely, but underground partially, the lobby was minimal , my room had zero view and I came to see the mountains....it looked out on a neighbor garden

It was not close to the train station as reported on their website, over half a mile the room they gave me, which was much more than I spent for any hotel in my 2 week tour of Switzerland, was partially under ground and I could touch the gardener

From the moment I walked in, Tim greeted me and made my check-in very seamless. The hotel location was perfect, an easy few-minute walk to the town, the slopes, and anywhere you wanted to go. I loved having little fruit, snacks, and water for all guests to enjoy going in and out of the hotel.

The apartment suite was cozy, spacious, nicely decorated and a great place to come home to after a long day skiing. Staff were super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Location was great - quick walk to everything you needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay! Unfortunately, we only had 1 night at this wonderful hotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

So cozy and perfect! The room was fabulous, breakfast was so sweet and the staff were amazing! My husband and I enjoyed tea in the lobby and they even started a fire for us to enjoy, it was such a vibe! Definitely book for your Zermatt stay!

The hotel room is of decent size and can be comsider big. Very comfy and the food is nice especially the eggs.

Have to walk up the slope everytime to go to the main street.

Well located, well managed and maintained, a can do team, modernized room with a good use of space and a nice spa all with a view of the Matterhorn

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful in every way. The location was the best, the view of the Matterhorn from our lovely balcony. It was quiet with a small park in front. Breakfast had many gluten free items and was delicious.

We loved everything!!

I recently stayed at the Matterhorn Lodge in Zermatt, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The hotel perfectly combines authentic Alpine charm with modern comfort. The wooden interiors, elegant design, and cozy atmosphere make it exceptional. Location is perfect too!

i loved the stay, rooms very clean, dark shades, geo-thermal heated, nice furniture, awesome shower/bath area, awesome breakfast, awesome spa, perfect location. Rubens received us as we were habitues and old friends, very kind and attentive, made us feel at home since the beggining.

price mis-match between charged and booking price, had to show the booking website reserve confirmation email and discuss a bit to have the rate matched to the price breakedown but nothing that would harm my perception. Just did not like the other guy at the reception, tim, exactly the opposite behavior of Rubens, glad i just had to deal with him on the last day, very unpolite, unfriendly and unkind guy, should not be working with hotels and hospitality

Spa area was great and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh, full of healthy options and filling. The proprietor made us reservations at a nearby restaurant that was incredible!

Location, location, location in the heart of Zermatt. Beautiful apartment/hotel. Well appointed. Great view of Matterhorn.

I guess it was off season so the bar and restaurant was closed. Not sure that was advertised in the booking process, but possibly.

We loved everything about the Matterhorn. Great location. Great staff. Amazing room… they bumped us up to the Penthouse, it was practically a whole floor! And we LOVED THE SPA! George and Rubin were very friendly and helpful. Also, they gave us a ride back to bus station … perfect with luggage.

Excellent breakfast including local meats, cheese, bread, pastries, made to order eggs, and coffee (drip or espresso).The Spa area has 3 saunas (UV, steam, and Finnish) and a hot tub.Large, clean, and comfortable rooms.Shuttle from Zermatt train station upon arrival and return to Zermatt train station on day of departure.Friendly and helpful staff.Classic Swiss chalet setting.Next to public water fountain (refilling water).Offered hiking poles for rental.To note, the hotel Spa only offers massages but not facials. There is no hotel restaurant but the hotel is central, located on a quiet street, and close to the main downtown area. A lot of shopping and food nearby.

The staff was lovely and all spaces were clean and so well appointed. Location was excellent. Ruthie was very helpful as well as Georgie. Breakfast was good and we had a lovely local wine.

There was nothing we didn't like. It is was off season and quiet. They closed the lounge and bar area a 9pm but I understand why. Just an FYI to future guests. I don't know if this would be the case when in full season.

The hotel and rooms are beautiful. Spacious, spotless, with so many extras! The host that greeted us made us feel welcome even though she was obviously busy. She helped us get our luggage stored and gave great suggestions on how to spend the day.
