- Beautiful Hotel. We are in the preferred section which had some nice perks. Up graded room was greatly welcomed. Breakfast was lovely and nice to have fruit skewers around the pool.
- The staff and location
- The service was outstanding across the board, and the polite staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed the fun atmosphere created by the pool bar bartenders and the high quality of the Mediterranean restaurant.
Cons -
- Nothing. the hotel was lovely.
- The smell ; of sewage and the breakfast ; without doubt of all my travels it was a very unpleasant breakfast
- Because the pool bar was so popular and fun, it could get a bit crowded during the peak hours.

The location was fabulous
When we visited the hotel was quiet, we were given a room overlooking the car park, which wasn’t great, only one restaurant was open over the three days we stayed, so we didn’t get to try any places to eat, only one pool bar and lobby bar available to us, it was all about this preferred club, which we knew nothing about. Entertainment wasn’t what was advertised on the app and area this was on was at the base of the lobby stairwell, limited setting and just a strange set up.
The stay was lovely and we very much enjoyed it. Great for kids our 4 year old had a great time with all the facilities for kids.
We have stayed in a different 5 star Dreams hotel prior to this and the experience was far superior to the Lanzarote stay. I don't know if i would class it as a 5 star more of a 4 but on the higher end. Just due to service and facilities available.
The staff are excellent, Especially Aziz who was so helpful when my Daughter was ill. The receptionist was amazing so professional. The staff were so welcoming. I have tremors and cannot stand for long so they dealt with my check in by providing a seat which was really helpful. The room was amazing, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a privilege preferred room and loved the pool. We loved our stay.
Nothing we really enjoyed our stayed.
Property is quite nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to access the place with free soft drinks and food available all day (for preferred club members) ; free gym with good equipment ((some a little old but still working); free champ for breakfast for preferred club members
Air con was not working well and the way it was handled by some of the staff was not at the level of a 5 stars hotel (had to ask 4 x to get it fixed) ; only one hour each free to enjoy sauna and hammam ; many things like baby foot etc, you had to pay to enjoy and even for some tents facing the sea. Felt like the Ryan Air of hotels (and it was not cheap). Restaurants in the property and around are really bad (and pricey for what it is)
Overall, our experience was good, but we were expecting a true five-star level of service, as suggested by the hotel’s rating and many of the reviews. The location was excellent — very close to the beach, a small shopping center, and just a 30 minutes drive from the airport. The room was also nice and comfortable, which we appreciated.
We didn’t find the hotel staff particularly helpful or welcoming during our stay. On several occasions, we encountered unprofessional behavior and unfriendly attitudes, which made the experience less enjoyable. The service at the Barracuda Pool Bar was quite disappointing — the drinks were poorly made, and the staff didn’t seem properly trained. The receptionist was also quite cold and unapproachable whenever we needed assistance, which was unfortunate.
Almost everything: people were doing their best to accommodate tourists. Appreciate that!
Body smelling pillows: not the covers!!! Pillow covers were very clean and changed regularly. The pillows were smelling so bad that we kept them on the balcony. It’s a common issue for hotels everywhere in the world, so, normally we travel with our own inflatable pillows and their silk covers. But the room was full of that specific smell, if the hotel pillows were to be left inside.
Lovely hotel with plenty of space. Staff were very helpful.
The spa was not worth visiting
The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The buffet had a wide selection of foods and there were a few restaurants to choose from at the hotel. The spa was quiet and calming and we were super close to the beach when we wanted a change of scenery.
The quality of the food could be better, especially at the hotel restaurants. And there was only one option of entertainment for one hour in the evenings.
Bad
We booked a pool room for 3 nights and a more expensive room an Ocean facing room for the remaining 5 nights. Costing £90 a night more. When I complained, the reply was that 2204 was an ocean room and we had been given an upgrade. Not true. 2204 overlooked the three main pools and you could only see the sea in the horizon Please could you arrnge for Dreams to recredit the overcharge. We explained this to the booking.com rep. Very bestPeter Cussins
Nice breakfast with good variety. Great location, numerous swimming pools. Friendly attentive staff. Luxurious hotel.
Couldn't fault it
the location was very good and most of the staff were quite nice, the food in the buffet was also quite good
we had "preferred" club and i am not sure it was obvious to certain staff who kept trying to usher myself and my family out of the areas we had paid extra to be in, even when we explained that we were actually allowed to be in the preferred lounge or breakfast buffet. It got a bit awkward. There was an issue on one day where there were absolutely no towels available which impacted our day. I was surprised by the rudeness of some staff as well considering in a lot of other reviews it was said they were really friendly
The food and slow food service let the hotel down.
Food was average. Staff took too long to serve. Not enough choices of food to eat.
Great hotel, if you're staying b and b it's worth going preferred club for the all day snacks and drinks in the lounge. Breakfast is great, rooms are lovely location and facilities excellent.
good location preferred pool and bar area very good
you didn't have an area to play football , Tennis etc., for children's the buffet food could of been better, the rooms were tired need up dating, bathroom very small, some of food in restaurant's could have been better quality.i was expecting better quality from a Dreams Hotel we have stayed in Dreams before and it was really good
The only good thing about this hotel is their Coffee shop and the beach nearby.
This is not a five star hotel as they position themselves on Booking.com. The tendency this day is to set up preferred/prestige club to earn even more money and don't care about the rest of the guests much. The non-preferred part of this hotel is three stars at most. The hotel tries to save money on staff. There is just not enough staff and they are trying to rotate the staff they have. That is why there is no staff in the breakfast until after 8 am, the bar in the lobby opens only in the evening (this is the first hotel without working lobby bar I experienced). The towels - apparently you cannot change your towels more than once during the day (again - this was the first in the five star hotel). Breakfast - we tried to come to the breakfast 10 minutes earlier on the day we were leaving and were not allowed in (even when everything was ready and we needed just coffee from the machine and a pastry). We never ever had this problem before. The way they organise the hotel - you need to present your room card to get into breakfast, lunch and dinner, than they write on the paper how many of you and your status (half-board, all inclusive, etc), it takes time and creates a queue. The food is uninspiring with a very limited choice.I booked a room with a see view (not partial see view) and paid extra to be put into the room with a view on the car park. After complaining I have been told that the room has a see view (picture attached)Because they don't have enough staff the standards of cleaning are very poor (picture attached).Overall the hotel is a very poor value for money and the way they present thier rooms on Booking.com is a false advertising.
Wonderful hotel, great location. Staff were really pleasant and friendly from front desk, to waiters/waitresses, barmen or poolside staff. Breakfast is excellent with food for all tastes. Multiple pools provide ample opportunity to swim or rest with adult only options available too.
Loved everything about this place. Great location, fab staff, pools were amazing and activities were excellent. Loads to do!
