- The staff was nice and smiley but not very well trained. The property is nice and pretty, but starting to age. There is a small supermarket right at the property. The nearest beach is 10 min walk or 3 min by car, very nice, clean water. Beds are large and very comfortable.
- This was our first time in Lanzarote and we booked this as a last minute stay when our other accommodation cancelled on us the day we arrived. We were very happy about location compared to our last place, we would walk to the Hippodino but realized that the shop onsite was nicely stocked with water and snacks if need. Rooms were clean and spacious and I really enjoyed manicured landscaping on property the with exotic plants . They had a Spa, bar, two pools, lots of lounging chairs for the sunshine, night time entertainment if you so fancy but wasnt our thing. We stayed in room 802 and it was pretty quiet for being an all ages resort. 15 mins to the beaches and a bit more for the seafront shopping, and restaurants. Buffet including drinks was very reasonably priced if you were in a pinch but food was just okay.
- The Welcome. Helpful to our needs. Gracias Sra. Faty. And when changing dates. The Unit, a little sparse in Furnishings.
Cons -
- Cold pools, not possible to use.The food was very basic, precut fruits, ham, cheese never looked fresh. We only had a breakfast included, but once paid for a dinner and it was not worth 20 euro per person. The room cleaning was not really a cleaning just making beds.
- Only really French speaking. Not sure if its cultural or a language barrier but this the first time I have experienced unfriendly Reception staff. I felt like a more thorough orientation about what exactly we can or cannot partake in would of have been helpful or some info on the television in our room as a guide on the resort and what is happening day to day, things to explore. We would never get greeted hello, and they were usually sitting at the computer with their head down. Unhelpful as well as I asked where the free shuttle picks at playas doradas and they couldn't tell me so we always had to walk back on sore feet.Pool was only opened from 10-6pm, never saw the pool bar open. Shower was not draining properly so the shower matts would be sopping wet ! I tried to ask for more towels but they didn't really understand what I was saying.

The entertainment staff were always busy entertaining guests
We went self catering so I would of thought there would be some basic kitchen facilities but there was only a kettle and a fridge
It was only 10 mins to beach and about 15 mins from marina which was lovely with restaurants and fancy shops. Great viewpoint there too.
That you have to put toilet paper in the bin. Also left my purse at on reception desk and luckily it was only 10 euros cash in it but it had been taken by time I went back to get it. The French entertainment was sometimes very funny but also a bit strange when you’re not sure what’s going on.
The room was a bit smelly but other than that everything was ok. Super dinner buffet for 15 euros per person.
it really allows you to start of the holiday as one of the people of Lanzarote instead of just coming for holiday and leaving
the noise coming from upstairs and sometimes the occasional bad customer service
The rooms are set in a lovely setting. On arrival I was a bit worried as reception is dated but the buildings are very pretty and rooms are huge.
Food is ok, not the best or worst but ok for a couple of days. The entertainment and staff spoke in French primarily for some reason.Having to pay €10 euros deposit for the towel is fine but you should be able to pay by card. I had to get money out of the atm that charged me €5 and then I’ve now got a €10 euros note that I can’t use up
I liked our room which had a lovely balcony and was nice and quiet . We tried the breakfast which had plenty of options and the staff were polite .
We didn’t realise it was a French family holiday hotel as it was full of children and all information for trips etc… was geared to the French . It’s not a problem if you’re ok with doing your own research and ask questions etc.. location was a bit further than we thought from beach too -about a 10-15 minute walk .
Nice and clean 10 min walk.to beach and restaurants. Son liked the football courts.
Pillows , pool was coldWould be better if apartment had a stove to cook. All entertainment in french
Didn’t have breakfast
That I didn’t have appliances in the room but that could have been my fault I would prefer a apartment to hotel but fab hotel
Breakfast was varied with lots of fruit as well as cooked breakfasts.
Dinner was disappointing and although there was a wide range of food it was more like a canteen than a restaurant.
Excellent service and fantastic staff with exceptional customer-oriented service, super helpful - bravo! Also great polyglots. Amazing breakfasts as well.
It’s hard to say if it was only because of the Christmas season, but the hotel animations in the evening were too much, too intense, and too LOUD. For someone who comes in to have some rest for holiday, it was a pain. Also, they were only in French.
Location rooms were clean
Staff were unhelpful, said they were full, then we found space on booking.com, and they reluctantly let us stay, don't feel English are wanted at this property, then booked another night only to be told we have moved to to a different hotel, which was awful.
This review is long overdue, but I wanted to share how much I LOVED my stay at THB Royal in Lanzarote. The location is Perfect—just a short walk to the main beach and situated on a quiet avenue, with easy access to everything. The hotel and its facilities are Excellent, with a beautiful, calm outdoor area full of greenery, that makes you feel like you´re in an Oasis amidst the heat. The rooms are very spacious, airy and with great balconies and very comfortable beds and always clean. The pools are fantastic, one offering a quieter atmosphere and the other usually had activities during the day. The hotel food - buffet international meals - were always very good and offered a wide variety in each meal and in the daily selection.Among all these great marks, what stood out the most was the Exceptional service from the hotel staff. They are all Extremely Professional and at the same time exceptionally warm and friendly, creating a very good environment.I will never forget how much the hotel team helped me during my recovery from a burnout. These holidays were a mix of healing and a test to my nervous system and my ability to regain autonomy, and at times, I struggled. But the staff provided INVALUABLE support, offering me extra guidance on places to visit and helping me feel at ease. I want to express my Gratitude to the KIND Anabella and the AMAZING Marta from the reception (You were my Angel!).Also, a thank you to the friendly "breakfast girls" for always being so helpful and patient with me and the rest of the staff.I’m truly grateful and HIGHLY recommend this hotel in Lanzarote. I hope to return soon!
Having to leave.
good atmosphere round the pool, rooms spacious, reception helpful and friendly. I speak French so I liked that all the (very low quality) entertainment was in French.
The rooms were badly let down by being so bare; the only furniture was tatty melamine faced. Some interior design would lift this hotel so much. The buffet foot was poor quality. Given the hotel residents are mainly French, I was surprised haw bad it was.
Cold water provided at the reception for anytime needed.
Very dirty room and bathroom. Every day our beds were made but the room was filthy. I asked at the reception to send someone to clean the room as my son and my husband had a terrible hey fever and asthma because the dusty in the room. Also the swimming pool was supposed to be heated and the water was freezing cold all the time. It was nice and big pool but nobody could get in for swimming.
Friendly staff, two large swimming pools, easy-going atmosphere and fun activities. The resort is located away from the downtown area so parking was very easy and free!
The food was okay, but the quality was less than what I expected.
the price and quality ratio is great. nice complex, big selection for breakfast. good parking right in front of the hotel
Very decent budget hotel not far from the beach.
Breakfast could do with more Spanish products. Not everyone likes a fry up and bacon.
