Hotel Sausa

Nice quiet, simple highway hotel outside of Girona with friendly staff.

Quite isolated location, not very modern, and basic restaurant often not open on the weekends.

It’s off the main road to southern Spain, for a one night stay it was excellent. There is a nice bar area and outdoor seating. There’s a very reasonable (€15) Menu del Dias style option for dinner which is traditional and good value with plenty of choice.

At the time I stayed (April) it was very quiet and looked a little tired, you could see that if fully occupied the overall view of the hotel be would be better.The room has lots of facilities and is clean but again tired. I would still be happy to stay again.

Room had a fridge but no kettle or drinks facilities except a small carafe of water. Heating wasn't on so quite cold in the room in late November.Iffy wiring on the hairdryer.

Close to the motorway. Nice hotel out in the country. Welcoming staff. Clean. Big room. Quiet at night.

The sheets on the bed were old and lumpy.

The size of the room, the location, the excellent pool and the food. Free parking on site.

Not very welcomimg staff. Dinner was in a small and stuffy room yet they have a beautiful terrace dining room. The menu is only in Catalan.

Abandoned hotel. Road side, there is nobody, feel like a horror house

The location is near the principal road of the area and makes easy the visit all over the area. The place is quite. The swimming-pool is very confort. The staff is polite and try to help you when is possible. The bathroom is clean, large and the shower is perfect.

The timing of the resdtaurant was very strict and so it was not open all the day. The restaurant is not open on sunday except if a lot of people arrive that day.

Easy access from the freeway. Old but well maintained hotel, great for a night stop. Staff is very helpful (we arrived late on a Sunday and had some makeshift sandwiches served with scraps from the bar)

Nothing to complain given the price

Clean and welcoming. The staff were lovely and did their best to communicate in English with us. Pool was brilliant for the kids after a day travelling in the car.

Wasn't so keen on the menu choice for the evening meal, but this could be because I'm quite fussy.

Lunch area decor was cute. Yet you were told where to sit and when to sit.

Check in and out was rushed Check out posted at 11am - we were rushed out by 1005am. Only one electronic key-card was given for three people Breakfast hours rushed No orientation/ to the amenities. Pool was hidden. No one is at the reception after 10pm

The location is great to walk to the city center. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Very nice surroundings and pool. Would come again.

The swimming pool is great! The menu is a fantastic and good price. we will definitely come back!
