Very good facilities and very nice staff. The price was very cheap (in my opinion).

The breakfast could start earlier, 7:30 was a little late for the appointments of my trip.

At steps from the City's Center, parking, flexible check-in and leave, the small details like the insects electrical repellent device.

Where do I even start?... The towels were dirty. Thankfully I ALWAYS bring my own. Beds were joined and, since I move a lot during the night, I always split them apart..... They are not as comfortableNo hair dryer, even though online they said they have one. I had to ask for mineEven though I selected the room with the bathtub, they gave me one with a very small shower cabin :/ Super old double windows and, if you are a light sleeper like I am, good luck sleeping xD You can hear EVERYONE in the adjacent room... and aboveThe room I stayed in was facing the street, which was a downside. I am a light sleeper and, even though I asked to have the room changed, I gave it up as it was taking them a lot of effort (they had to go through a bunch of approvals -_-...) The toilet paper was not new, it was previously used and I had to ask for another rollBREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED!! Even though it states you have Breakfast in the room, that apparently does not mean you have the breakfast included (: .... It costs 30 lei and only includes a (very) small coffee and a few things. Vegetarians do not have many options, so good luck xD You can order fried eggs or omelets. But still, you are better off getting something from Profi/Mega/Carrefour and keeping it in your fridgeYou don't have a microwave in the room or at least a water boiler cup so you can make yourself some coffee.... PARKING! Boy, if you have a long car, best of luck xD Parking takes patience as the place is SUPER small... They DO help you park, but it is crowded and you need to be lucky to find a spot.

Reservation transfered to an apartment nearby

I booked a triple room at Vila Vidalis and on the check-in day my reservation was transfered to Eloom Living (https://www.booking.com/Share-nlK8UxJ), which is an apartment in an empty unfinished apartment block. My booking was in a 3-star hotel, NOT AN APARTMENT!

Close to town center, good breakfast, good prices.

Pros: 1) by far the best price in town, at only about $40/day; nothing as decent comes even close to this offer in Cluj;2) central location, just 5 minutes of walking away from Unirii Square;3) flexible check-in/check-out time and without any human interaction necessary;4) good communication by phone and messages; once I forgot my acces card in the room and they quickly provided me the passcodes to get back inside;5) nice shower and bathroom in general;

Cons: 1) on booking.com they say they provide a fridge/minibar and wi-fi internet but in fact they don’t; luckly it was winter and I was able to preserve my food by just letting it outside the window; and luckly I was able to rely on my Vodafone unlimited mobile internet subscription; maybe it would’ve been too much at this price, but I just wish I knew from the start and not being lied to;2) the bed was not very comfortable; a better mattress and pillow would be a good investment, because sleeping is the most important thing for the clients of any hotel;3) the window was not sound proof and I was able to hear each and every car passing by the nearby street; they did not install it properly; I was able to block the noise by pushing it, but couldn’t find a way to keep it pushed without my continuous effort.

There are some very noisy rooms try to avoid as they are facing the main road.But i was likely moved without any problems.

Room was pretty good for what i needed, although a bit small, had most of the required facilities and was clean.

The room was a bit small, which wouldn`t have bothered me too much, but at night, because of the heat, it was difficult to sleep with the window closed (can`t keep the AC on during the night for health reasons) and if I opened the window it was very loud from the cars even during the night.Another issue was the lack of wifi. I it DID NOT reach my room at all, couldn`t even find it. I did not travel for work so it was not a deal breaker, but otherwise, it could have been a bad experience.I recommend purchasing another router.

Location, close to town! Cleanliness, perfect! Amability of staff exceptional! I was worried I will be allowed in the room only after 4pm, however, at my arrival at 3pm I was immediately checked in by the most cheerful and professional staff.

Could do with a bit of renovation of the street view. It contrasts with the cleanliness and the comfort of the rooms.

The staff were extremely helpful, room was spotlessly clean. The room also had AC, which was great, as we had an unexpectedly warm couple of days.

Excellent services, as usual. I booked a room for my mother-in-law, who travelled for her regular cancer treatment. So, friendly people, comfort and peace of mind are essential not only for her but also for us because we are a few thousand miles away.
