Hotel River Park

We've been to the Transylvania Open tennis tournament and this was a very good place to stay in order to get to the BT Arena easily. It is a 15 min walk, a nice walk alongside the river. The hotel is looking nice, is well taken care off, the staff was very friendly. There are like 6-7 parking spots next to the hotel, but there are other parking spaces on the public parking on the road. The room is big enough, warm, there was also a nice balcony but it was too cold to try to use it. Bathroom was ok, you can see that the hotel is a quite few years old but still looking ok.The breakfast was good, lots of options, not too fancy but good enough to start the day with a good meal. Overall a good stat for our purpose

There are two things I would recommend the hotel to work on:1. The air conditioning is very noisy. Even the lowest level was making a very loud noise. It was very warm and nice but far too noisy (good thing that we were too tired to notice it too much but still...)2. There was a room-perfume which was too intense. I didn't find it in order to put it away and we had to live with it for our entire stay. Please don't use it anymore as it is too smelly

Very chic interior design, comfortable bed, spacious room with a balcony so we could enjoy the city/river view.Mini bar on offer which was great for enjoying a drink and a snack upon arrival/travelling.Staff are very good, Petru from reception was extremely helpful, excellent customer service. The laundry service was quick and well priced.Thanks, we recommend this hotel.

It is a wonderful place with people who do their work to the highest standard.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Very good food!!! Everything very clean and welcoming. We will definitely come back to this place!

Clean, quite and very modern hotel, breakfast although small it had a lot of options and you don’t feel like anything is missing.The Relax room is a great place to chill, especially after a full day trip around the city.

Maybe just a bit pricey compared to other hight end hotels, sometimes noisy because of the planes although not close to the airport, but other than that nothing negative to mention.

Nothing much to say about, bit away from city center, but at least on a nicer location. Hotel itself was good with nice rooms.

Breakfast was quite basic and not too much things on offer. Advertised "massage included" is actually a massage chair only...

Very comfortable location on the Somes shore, the hotel is modern, clean and has style. The staff is very professional and courteous. Highly recommended.

The room offered enough space, and I liked the position next to the river and park. On the first day, the breakfast was from the menu only, but when more guests arrived, we had a regular free choice, and the selection was decent.

Not everything is in the best shape, and although it looks like a new hotel, one would appreciate better maintenance. Also, they have no washing machine for guests and no dryer, and it was quite a drama to wash my clothes there since I was travelling a week before and needed to do my laundry. During breakfast, they serve juices in glass jars with cork lids, and they are quite tired, and you can taste the cork in your drink...

It was clean enough, but there was a strange smell in the bathroom. I think they need to find a solution for that.

When I chose the hotel I was looking for the location close to the city centre, parking and people's satisfaction. HRP checked all the boxes. The staff went above and beyond and upgraded our room to the penthouse.

The hotel is about 15 min walking to the center, but in a quiet area in front of the river. Rooms are nice, modern and clean; staff competent and kind.

Breakfast is rather basic for a 4s hotel. There is no bin in the room to throw away any kind of waste (e.g. plastic bottles or other waste), there is only one in the bathroom.

The room was a good size for a couple, good shower head, view of the river from the balcony, nice restaurant - although we only got the breakfast.

The mattress and pillows were too soft for my liking, I woke up with a sore neck. The breakfast was rather small. The location was almost 3km from the center, not so great for walking all the time.

Was mentioned that it’s a different company running the breakfast, but then it should not be advertised in the room price, as it lowers the overall rating

The location was amazing! The facilities are exceptional. The restaurant was a touch pricey, but very good quality food. I recommend the hamburger! It's really a steak burger.

There was a barking dog that lives next door, but other than that, it was an amazing stay!

Electrical plug for kettle didnt work, but night manager was able to provide an extension lead that fixed that.Aircon not working so room was hot, had to keep window open to allow airflow

The location is good, the rooms are clean. The breakfast was tasty, good coffee. The personnel was very kind and always smiling and helpful.
