Grand Hotel Napoca

Staff were helpful and accommodating, parking was easy, restaurant had good hours, food delivery was also easy. Location was walkable to center of town. Room was upscale and clean.

Breakfast seemed to be great for Romanians, but we were unfamiliar with many of the foods - the kids had a little bit of a hard time finding things they liked.

Everything l. The hotel is really nice and everything is very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is big. The breakfast is very full and has a lot of choices. The location is excellent. We stayed here every year I am visiting Cluj.

Shower cabin is very tight and could use an upgrade.

location is good, the restauration is ok.one can see there were great investments done, but sadly noone invested in the people.

from the first contact you will see written on the entrance sliding door-"do not touch the door"- maybe less offending for the guests would be just -" automatic door".we are not coming from the jungle.even though the hotel advertises that the bar and restaurant are open from 07 am till 10 pm, at 08.45 pm i asked at the bar for a coffee and i was told-"sorry, i just finished cleaning the coffee maker, so no coffee for you". while in the lobby i felt a wet touch on my hand-i turned and there it was a doberman sniffing my hand, no muzzle, kept on leash by a 8-9 year old girl. i asked at the reception, the dog belonged to the hotel manager, who was partying with friends a few steps away.i asked him how come he allows this kind of dog, which is considered dangerous breed, to move free through the clients, supervised by a kid. his wife, present at the party told me the dog is under the kid's supervision because it is her dog. no comment. anyway, it is illegal to walk this breed dog in public without a muzzle.

The experience staying at the hotel was good. The staff were helpful and the hotel insides, guest rooms, and washrooms were clean. The breakfast was average and could be better.

Breakfast could have been better and the internet speed was not so fast.

Very good location - next to the Central Park, approx. 10 minute walk from the city center. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Free parking.

I like the comfort of the bed and the hot water.

Did not like that found hair on my new towel. Did not like the breakfast- for 3 -stars hotel will be ok, but for 4 stars- it was poor. Did not like the staff behaviour - i felt like intruder, not like a gest. Did not like that the staff did not tell me that if you are with a car, need to ' validate' the ticket for the car parking at the reception desk. Did not like that was not given with information about taxi company( when asked for such), because, as one of them said-"sorry, i do not use taxi". Am I wrong that 4 stars hotel should help with info?

It was very clean, with comfortable beds, closed to a nice park. Aircon was working and also the window could be opened. Free parking was also included. The breakfast was ok, but we went at the end of the given time and they ran out of many things and they did not made up again…

The people working there were not very friedly and you should not go to take breakfast at the end of the given time, as they run out of many things and they do not make up everything…

Large very clean room with a comfortable bed and good wifi. Shower had good pressure and lots of hot water.Breakfast had the usual options but was nothing special.Lots of parking available for free, some of it even in the shade.As for location it's about a 20 to 30 minute walk to the old town center.

Carpet in room was dingy, a/c barely worked and you had to call the front desk to change the settings. Room had simply seen better days. No shampoo supplied. The hallways and entrance are kept more nicely that the rooms Staff were efficient but not very friendly or at least that was my impression. Way too expensive for what you get.
