Hotel Olimp

Very nice and cosy hotel. Staff was very nice too. Nearby a restaurant and a Carrefour Express. Also, the private parking is a BIG plus.

The room smelled of food.and you can hear every step the customer takes in the room from upstairs and they scratch the floor loudly,

Very good location, makes it easy to get to the center of the city or to other places. The staff were very polite. The bed was comfortable and the towels clean.

They say they have 24h availability but that is not what I experienced. We arrived later and didn't find parking. No one to talk to, Whatsapp said "we're not available now". I think the toiletries can be improved, we got some sample sized small packages with a bit of shower gel and shampoo. Not enough for a person, not to mention 2 for 3 nights. I think they would come into the room just to close the AC when we'd leave. €261/night is significantly above the national average, it's what people pay for 5 stars hotels and I feel like the only thing qualifying this to be a hotel and not a hostel is that it has a private bathroom, but still, there is nothing to justify 3 stars.

They had an amazing breakfast with excellent coffee.. it also has parking. Has very comfortable mattresses.

A Very old hotel. Pretty much old everything. There was mold in the bathroom, the ceiling paint in the bathroom was all bed due to water infiltration. The cover for my duvet has some perpament spots on it. The only things that was nice were the mattresses.

The location is good, well connected with the city centre.

The reception was closed at 10pm when when we arrived. We were indicated the wrong room number. It took some 30-40 until they sorted out what is our room.

Not great, not terrible

Booked and confirmed for several months, but prior to our stay with a couple of days we were called that they don’t have rooms anymore (lol) because a large group would need the hotel. After several checks, we finally agreed to move to another hotel close by (which was cheaper-we got reimbursed). In the Olimp we didn’t see any large group… if it was a scam, or simething else i don’t know, but will be more carefull in the future

The heating was on economy mode, outside were -5 and the radiators were cold. No way of changing the thermostat as there was none.Breakfast was scheduled at 7.30 but until 9.20 nobody was there to prepare it. After I escalated these concerns with booking.com they lied that the breakfast was scheduled for 9.30. a bunch of liars.

A regular hotel with regular commodities - good for short staying.Had no issues with parking and self check-in.

I wouldn't stay here again for more than a day. The sound insulation is non-existent here. I could hear every word from the people talking in a room behind the wall. What can I say about the sounds during the night?When you turn on the light in the bathroom, the exhaust fan starts a true racket, begging for a bearing replacement. Of course, all of your neighbors can hear that noise. Imagine that happening at 2 AM.

We didn't have breakfast. We were staying just for the one night; we were in the hurry :(Other than that, it was as advertised. Parking space is a winner! Room was clean and quite nice and cozy. TV, wi-fi - check!Bathroom - roomy and clean.

Plate/board with the name of hotel must be bigger, more obvious; to put on a higher position. We circled with car two times around it without noticed it. We have to park the car and start searching on foot.

The breakfast was very good, excellent staff, and the food was fresh and delicious The location was perfect however the timing was during Untold music festival so the prices were very high

Disappointing

We checked into the room late in the evening, there was no one at the reception. When we checked in, it turned out that the bed was broken and we couldn't sleep on it. We mailed the receptionist and sent a photo. We asked to move us to another room but no one contacted us. We had to sleep in another room (which was rented by our friends).

Besides great location for our needs, very clean, free parking and great burgers at the restaurant, the stuff was amazing. Starting with the tall, brunette lady at the reception (so sorry I didn’t catch her name!) to the cleaning stuff, the people serving food, were all amazing. The lady at the reception deserves a raise for her customer service. She was just great!

The location was good for the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca.Breakfast was OK.The Hotel has its own wide free parking.

I arrived around 09. p.m. and I had to look for something to eat at a gas station near by, where there were no many things to buy.The furniture can be improved.

The place was absolutely disgusting. Used bed, used towels, box of pizza on the table, chewed gum on the night stand. It's the worst place I have ever encountered. No soundproof at all, very loud neighbors....
