Pros +
- The breakfast was exceptional. Staff was wonderful. We especially enjoyed meeting Katie and Sophie. The dinner was fabulous also, but it’s a lot of food. The location was fantastic and the hotel could not have been more accommodating. They sent a free taxi to pick us up at the local train station. They also provided a bus pass to get up and down the mountain. We did not have a car. We traveled by train from Venice and did not have an issue.
- The amazing view, the staff- one of us even had a birthday and they surprised us with cake and birthday wishes! , the big room, the breakfast.

Cons -
- The spa area needs updating! The pool was green and the hot tub was cold. Also, the mountain air is extremely dry. It would be nice if they would provide lotion in the rooms.
- The indoor pool didn't look inviting, games for the kids could be nice :) Otherwise all was very good
- we would like to shorten our stay at the hotel by one night and stay only two nights instead of three. We spoke with Mr. Egger Motthios from the hotel management, and they are willing to shorten our stay without any charge. However, they request your confirmation that they will not be charged any commission for the third night. We kindly ask you to approve the cancellation of our reservation for the third night and refund us accordingly. Please confirm receipt of this message and the execution of the request.Itzik Oron

The staff, the room
Need to refill the cups more often in the spa. Bottle of water too expansive, more expansive than a beer
Super clean and fresh like it was just built yesterday , the views are outstanding, the reception stuff was super friendly with early checkin and late checkout, 100% recommended
It is a professionally run family hotel with an amazing view. I recommend half board - 4 course dinner menu with local specialties was great.
Road to the hotel is narrow and winding, which is compensated by an amazing view.
Breakfast & Dinner were perfect - Rooms view are great - You have to plan the journy very well to reach the hotel. Try to stay in the hotel without driving long distance next day

Facilities and views are great. Breakfast is quite good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
The dinner could be approved. We tried everything on the menu and honestly the only good thing is the salad and dessert buffet.
Location of the hotel was great. The cleanness of the rooms was very good. The hotel has a lot of small details that makes you feel welcomed, even when I checked out, I was given a box of Tee bags, nice detail.
I booked 2 rooms, one of them was really warm but the personal gave us right away a ventilator.
Bigger spa than I expected. The man in the reception was really great, he alone earned an extra star for the hotel! :) (I'm sorry I never cought his name). It was a large enough room and balcony. And a terrific view!
The bed was way too hard for me. I had a hard time getting some sleep. The personnel in the restaurant missed to take our drink order.
It's hard to rate this hotel anything else than a 10. We had a huge spacious suite "dolomiten suite" with great views. The roomkeeping was doing such impressive work that the room looked like new every single day. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the sauna and the abundance of food. The Klausencard with free bus riding and free cable car to Rittnerhorn was a nice extra. We would definitely return.
with a given "10" rating, there is nothing really to dislike. Just as food for thought for future investments at the hotel: The area of the outdoors sauna lags a little bit behind the rest of the hotel in terms of atmosphere and "Substanz", maybe it can be refurbished in the near future.
- Wellness- excellent 5-course dinner- gorgeous view from the room balcony
- guided tours only in German and Italian, but not in English
Room size - view
No water heater - no AC.I suggest to have the windows net to prevent flys and insects from entering the room. To allow keeping them opened while sleeping.
Scenic Views: The view is what saves this hotel at this price point. The hotel boasts very picturesque views, making it a delight to wake up to every morning.Ideal Location: Its proximity to local tourist destinations is excellent, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the area.Impressive Buffet: The breakfast, Merienda, and dinner salad bar were highlights with their delicious and varied selections. This really added value to our stay.
Dinner Quality: The dinner presentations were impressive, but unfortunately, the taste didn’t live up to the visual appeal.Check-In Experience: The check-in process was slightly uncomfortable and awkward. As a tall guest, I was initially told that the bed in our originally booked room might be too small because of the footboard. The receptionist then suggested switching to a more expensive room without a footboard, making it clear that we would need to cover the extra cost. This approach felt unwelcoming and unaccommodating, especially since the alternative room would likely have remained empty otherwise. However, after inspecting our original room, we found that the bed was actually suitable, making the suggested upgrade unnecessary.Sauna Quality: The sauna was just average and didn’t quite match the inviting and cozy environment, size, or functionality one would expect at a hotel of this price range. Additionally, I feel the photos of the spa are misleading.Room Comfort: Although the room was clean and sufficiently furnished, it lacked the coziness and inviting atmosphere one might expect at this price point. The bathroom too was functional yet unexpectedly small for what we were paying. They charge for tap water!
- Very nice location/view and free parking- Very friendly and helpful stuff- Modern/renovated bathroom and comfortable bed in quiet, spacious room- Excellent breakfast- Great value for money
- Curtains in the room where not blackout (not even close to that) - unless we missed some layer/mechanism - and there was sun in the room very early on (we stayed there in August). Other than that, the place was perfect.
We had a really fantastic time at hotel. Staff was amazing and very helpful, personal thanks to Lucas who take care of us :) Food was delicious and the facilities were relaxing, clean and made our stay very comfortable. Location was really great!, hope to come back again.
We loved everything.
I absolutely loved it. This would be my preferred location for stay in the area and I would love to come back. The view from the room was superb. All hotel areas like the terrace or the pool areas were really nice to spend time at. The parking area was also very comfortable. The staff was very friendly are caring all the time. We also got passes for some cable car rides and pools in the area which was also a nice little cherry. I also liked the hiking in the area more than hiking in Meran. The LTE signal in the hotel was good enough. In another hotel in the Meran area I had no signal in the room.
The only thing that stops me from spending more time there is that the hotel prices in the whole region are a little pricey. It is not that this hotel is more expensive than the rest, it is just that the whole destination is a little bit pricey.
Location and dinner were excellent
Terras could do with some athmosphere, some light music would go a long way.Bar is rudimentary
Amazing choice of food for the continental breakfast.Five course evening meal of very high quality produced by the chef and team every evening.Spotlessly clean throughout.Friendly, attentive team.
We were able to have an early checkin by 11AM. On request, we got a suite with a bath. There was ample parking space at the hotel. There was a free welcome drink which we could choose according to our choice at the bar. Surprisingly, we had a lunch buffet included in our suite price, so we didn't have to go out for lunch. Dinner had various options in the predecided menu. Breakfast was nice with many options. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Would love to visit again.
Booking.com mentioned there were slippers in the room, but there we no slippers and bathroom had limited toiletries. No moisturizer or body cream was available.
