Magus Hotel

breakfast was good, we found everything we wanted; the location is at the end of Baia Mare but it was what we were looking for, far from the noise of the center

very nice and helpful staff; the location is what we looked for, out of city; the hotel is very clean, room was a normal one but big enough with a very confortable bed.

TV a bit outdated but otherwise flawless hotel.

Rooms were really comfortable. Beds had nice size. Breakfast was nice.

It was very clean. Staff was kind.

For breakfast i would expect a bit more options.

Everything from check in to very comfortable rooms with an electrical kettle and some instant coffee and tee provided in the room. We had a very large balcony with chairs coffee table and a small hammockWe had a family reunion dinner and the restaurant was above and beyond service helping us to have a great time, excellence food and wonderful memories that will last forever! Thank you all that helped us to have such a great time.

All was very nice

Very good

the walls were very thin and the neighbors very loud and upon asking for a new room I wasn’t given

Nice and clean. Good restaurant

The breakfast could be better

the room was really nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. Check out at 12 is perfect!

The breakfast was nice two mornings, on the weekend. On weekdays there is no normal breakfast, just eggs, which I normally do not eat. The room was completely overpriced. The hotel was empty, though, on Booking it was said, there are two rooms left. This is ridiculous. Regretfully bad stay.

Nice and comfortable room.Friendly personnel

Tidness in corridors

Very clean, good location, comfortable bed, great staff, plenty of parking space. Everything great apart from the noisy air conditioning system that was not cold enough. Good breakfast included. Overall, very good with little to improve

Not step-free rooms. As you go in the lift, exit on upper floor, then suddenly a set of stairs. Not a major issue unless you have a pram or something similar. Also very noisy air conditioning that doesn’t keep the room below 25 degrees. Again, not a major issue if you stay at any other time than summer. last minus for this would be the lack of a restaurant/bar. I was told it was temporary closed for a period.

Very clean, nice staff, very good breakfast!

Modern hotel, with new facilities inside the room, confortable bed, nice bathroom. Free parking places. Good breakfast.

Location (far away from city center).

No hair dryer in room.

Great central location. Very decorative rooms. Restaurant is very good.

If you need a quite place just outside of the city (still within reasonable reach) this is your best choice. Pet friendly with an own cat (and dog outside), excellent care and style. Clean rooms, even the standard one is more than enough for a comfy stay.

No such thing really.

Clean room, great breakfast, good value

Can be a bit noisy.

Comfortable, clean, good breakfast, good bed

Great hotel.

Party going on until late, and the bass of the techno music pulsed through the floor, even shaking the bed. After a none-hour drive, that was not fun.

The room is still comfortable, the cleanliness is impeccable. The staff in the restaurant was very kind and friendly, the same appreciation for the receptionist on the day of departure.

A small disappointment related to breakfast: lack of fresh vegetables (tomatoes or cucumbers - there is the option of pickles and a baked dish with cherry tomatoes) and a limited number of fruits; plastic cups for coffee, an unpleasant appearance for a hotel of this type. The receptionist on the evening of the accommodation arrived late at the reception, inattentive and preoccupied with other activities (he forgot to give me the card, hurrying to leave, without giving me details about the location of the room)

Room was comfortable.

Air conditioner was awful, the room didn’t drop below 24.5 C or 76 F.
