Pros +
- lOCATION TO PLACES WE WANTED TO TRAVEL
- Very friendly team, welcomed after a late arrival and offered breakfast the next morning even though I was officially too late for it. Parking conveniently available a short (3-5 min) walk away.
- Breakfast very good. Best pastries , home made . Was given some to take away. Best omelet
Cons -
- Could use better pillows
- There was no free bottled water in the room.
- Do not (I repeat DO NOT) take the D39 to get there. This very pretty road was made to accommodate one car so one would assume it goes one way only but this being France you will face someone coming from the other direction at its narrowest point, with a ravine (and certain death) on one side and an axle-breaking ditch on the other. That has nothing to do with this fine hotel and the lovely town, but you will want something strong to drink upon arrival if you insist on taking this "shortcut".

Everything : location, cleanliness, people going above and beyond to serve you
Clean, spacious room with a nice view. Restaurant just downstairs. Free public parking available 200m from the hotel. We stayed in January and the indoor temperature/heating was good.
There was no free bottled water in the room.
A fine hotel with an outstanding restaurant in a great little town.

This tiny little Hotel is located in a small picturesque French village of Collobrieres, amongst the large lush forest region. The place is very clean, rooms are comfortable with a high standard of bathroom. For natural scientists and nature lovers this place is a gem. Collobrieres have good wonder trails.
If you don't drive here yourself along the unknown & somewhat busy roads and streets, the public transportation to Collobrieres is rare (a bus connection from Toulon Gare Station) , but it exists ( line 881) .
Exceptionally clean. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful. Be mindful that rooms are over a restaurant and bar so there will be a little noise. The restaurant food was fabulous although no vegan choice.
The staff was super friendly and very helpful even though we do not speak French. We ate dinner there (3) nights and it was excellent. The room was clean and perfect for us.We will be back.
Its a nice small hotel in the old town. We came back very late and the kitchen at the restaurant was closed but girl at the reception asked chief to prepare cold plates for us. We had an amazing rooms for one family, it was very comfortable. The french breakfast was tasty. I will definitely come back.
Staff is fantastic and restaurant is very good
Rooms windows keeps outside noises away, but rooms walls do not. I had the pleasure to listen neighbours talking all night long. Some rooms features were not working properly (safe, curtains..)
We love Collobrieres and so we returned this year and stayed in the same hotel. I love the atmosphere here - it's a very busy and friendly bar and restaurant full of locals as well as visitors. It always has local produce on the menu - we had wild boar stew which was very tasty. The rooms are modern, spotless and spacious.
The location overlooking the canal is lovely. A live band featured at the Restaurant one night which was wonderful. Free parking not too far away.
No couch or small table or bedside tables in the room.
The location was perfect, the room and shared lounge/kitchen area with outdoor space was a bonus. The room was gorgeous, so spacious and modern with views over the village and mountain beyond.
Unexpectedly nice hotel in a very busy and quaint little town - the journey cross country to the town was an experience - narrow bendy roads up and down a very large hill/mountain. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent.
The bathroom has a slatted door which reduces privacy and may not suit some people.
The restaurant was great, and the staff very nice and helpfulThe room was quite, comfy, a wonderful large bed and a small fridge.
Nothing :)
I suppose I’m a little biased as this is my favourite hotel in my favourite village in the whole world…Location, food and friendliness. This is the way all hotels should be run! Beautifully appointed bedrooms, hearty meals, the ambience of being in a living village with real people and all at a price that’s unbelievably reasonable in this rip off modern world.
Room and bathroom were fine, breakfast was good. Busy hotel with guest rooms. restaurant menu for dinner was very good
Excellent place with even better restaurant. All clean and renovated. Quick internet connection. Lovely personel, especially at the reception! ??
It’s a family-owned hotel and restaurant and’s you feel it by the friendliness of everyone. The rooms are recently renovated (or at least they look like that) and very comfortable. The restaurant offers a good choice of food and daily specials. Nicely located in the middle of the Massif de Maures. Very quiet.
If there is one thing, the mattresses could be softer. But they are also comfortable the way they are.
