    Pros +

    • Excellent hotel with great staff. Heated pool was a plus for the time of year. The meals were exceptional so a big shout to the chef. Our room was very large and quiet. Secure garage parking was good. The only fault was the shower which had no screen so water everywhere but a minor inconvenience to us, just a lot of work for the cleaners! Would thoroughly recommend and would visit again when in this part of France. Support locally owned hotels.
    • Excellent environnement, beautiful pools and plantations. High quality dinner at the restaurant on the poolside.
    • This hotel is a hidden gem in Provence. The resort consists of rooms hidden in small houses surrounded by fabulous greenery. There are 3 pools.Underground parking is available for guests.

    Cons -

    • Qualité of the bathroom. Service at the dinner was a bit slow.
    • The restaurant in the hotel is extremely expensive, every dish was about 30 euro per person.Only small fridge in the room.
    • There were no real solid down points. The mattresses were a little on the thin and firm side, but I've slept well on far worse than that.

Picturesque location with lovely surroundings. Upgraded to a bigger room and breakfast offered a wide choice of options. Beds very comfortable

If you're after a bustling, vibrant city break then this place is not for you. Set in rolling hills in a quiet village, you're left in glorious silence and tranquility to eat, drink and relax to your heart's content. The staff are exceptional and sort out even the smallest of details - for example, I was travelling alone, and each night they set a table for one up in advance so they wouldn't need to remove the second service in front of me.Details like that go a long way.(Oh, and talking of the food it was exceptional! I wouldn't even bother looking for other ones nearby as they won't be better)

There were no real solid down points. The mattresses were a little on the thin and firm side, but I've slept well on far worse than that.

    The enchanted spot

Swimming pool was not heated and the dinner menu was limited and the same choices on the 2 nights

We liked the very large and nice appartment in duplex. The pool area is very nice and all the residence is very good looking with loads of laurels. The restaurent serves excellent around the pool area.

Unfortunately the appartment was next to the road and every time a car was passing by it made the small window on street level move with a unpleasant noise which woke us up several time during the night.

Lovely setting in small village, spacious room with own terrace.

No shower screen in the bath

What a little gem of a place! A tiny, traditional and independent French hotel in the middle of the country side. Once you are inside the grounds of the hotel, it is like a little secret haven that you would not know is there from the outside. The pools and landscaping are stunning, and the hotel feels private. The free car parking in the underground garage is brilliant and necessary due to the location of the hotel. The meals are beyond what you would expect for a 3 star hotel and as we left, we were even provided with take out cups etc to grab breakfast 'on the go'. Many of the staff have a great grasp of English and if you speak some French, there will be no issue with communicating! A small, but superbly dedicated team who love their hotel!

This really is 'nit-picking' and are more things to note, than things that we didn't like, but in the interest of constructive criticism:- our room appeared to be one that was a little outdated. It was perfectly comfortable with air conditioning, fridge and a private terrace, but there were no images of it on any of the publicity...maybe for good reason as it is due an upgrade?- If you are not an adventurous eater or have dietary needs, things are a bit more difficult at dinner. The staff are very accommodating and will work with you and the chef is very talented so it would be nice to see a bit more preparedness for guests with dietary requirements.- due to its small nature, there is less flexibility than in a bigger hotel or chain e.g. checking in we were later than expected due to a delayed flight, car hire queues and a thunderstorm on our drive- the hotel were calling to find out where we were, which made us even more stressed. Equally, if you are half - board, they are small and will cater to numbers, so if you are not eating, there will be an expectation for you to inform them. Fair enough, really.

    The outdoors areas look amazing.

My room was missing basic items like something to make tea, paper tissues or cups other than flimsy plastic cups. The hair dryer was also very cheap and annoying to use. This is too bad because otherwise the room looked nice.

Charming hotel in a peaceful village . Spotless with friendly staff. Would stay again.

    9HenrikPosted on: 5-6-2023

Comfortable large rooms situated around a garden with numerous pools and a nice restaurant with quite a lot wines by glass makes this a very pleasant place to stay.

Although rooms quite luxirious I missed the standard coffee and tea set, that's all.

    N.A.

Over years, have stayed & watched hotel be finished. Now has been Conde Naste-ed or similar, and full of Luxembourgers, Americans, Belgians, Germans, and wealthy French. However, despite its 3 stars, you can have French or German TV only. BBC or other English or American/English TV? - Le ZERO!!! Time for them to act like the hotel they now pretend to be.

The breakfast was very nice. Amazing pastry, good selection of local products. We also liked the pools and ambience.

Wonderful hotel in a small village with amazing staff all the way from the proprietor to the very friendly restaurant staff. The pool was delightful in the heat of June. The room was quaint and very very clean. A great jumping off point to Uzes Saturday market (highly recommended) or a canoe ride on the Gard.

the food was good and good breakfast.

actually we liked the place. shame we spent only one night as we wanted to visit both Nimes as well as Avignon.

Surprising surroundings and spacious, fairytale-like in the evening.

Parking space is a bit of a struggle for a large car.

Beautiful setting and quaint town. Clean sheetsFriendly staff

The room under the pool smelt of chlorine, toilet smelled, had a damp feel. Other rooms were fine.
