    Pros +

    • The location and views were wonderful. has a lot of character.
    • Nice location
    • Location was awesome!

    Cons -

    • No parking. Had to park in an adjacent pay lot, though was not very expensive or inconvenient. Hotel restaurant was expensive and food was good but not as great as advertised.
    • Better pillows would have been nice.
    • I think my room needed another suitcase rack. I would have liked to hang some clothes.

    Beautiful setting, friendly staff.

Everything was exceptional from the welcome at the front desk to the beach views and restaurant food. I felt very lucky to stay at this hotel.

Did not eat the breakfast. Great staff. Good location.

    A chair in the room

The rooms were amazing! We faced the water, and we could open the window to hear the waves. Clean room, tiny shower but accommodating. Location and view couldn't have been better. This quaint town was the highlight of our trip. I would completely go back and stay again. They helped us with a taxi to get to our tours that started in Bayeux. It was a great place to stay to have a different environment when we finished our Dday tours each day. We had a little town to come home to each night. :)

The restaurant attached was very nice but extremely expensive compared to the restaurants around the town. It was targeting a fancier crowd. We did not eat there because of this but the staff was very friendly.

On the beach, next to a museum telling the story of the incredible battle that happened right there (D-Day and the rest of the Normandy campaign). Hotel itself is quaint and comfortable with wonderful views and a fine restaurant.

No onsite parking (which would have ruined the setting anyway), but easy to find parking in town (free everywhere from 7pm-9 am.). Google Maps gets you to the wrong street, a block away, and town is challenging to drive for the inexperienced.

    Right on the ocean !

There wasn’t anything we disliked. It’s not a fancy place, but we had everything we needed and every staff person we dealt with was great! Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs.♥️

The room was a corner and facing the sea. It was spectacular. The girl at the front desk said she put us in the best room and she was awesome! Thanks!

The staff at the restaurant for breakfast and for bar service were not helpful nor friendly. Very rude.

    9RobertPosted on: 9-16-2025

The room was very large, particularly by European standards. We had a great view of the beach. It can be a bit hard to drive to the hotel with all the one-way streets; it's best to ask for directions. There is no safe or refrigerator in the room, not a big deal, but something to consider. The restaurant in the hotel is the best in town, is excellent with wonderful service. The rooms are not air conditioned, but its location, directly on the ocean, kept them very cool when we were there in early September.

The breakfast was OK, truly continental. Not bad, but not exceptional.

The place had a beautiful location and the view from the room was nice. The room was a great size. Nice to be so close to history.

Not a complaint, but a minifridge in the room may have been nice to keep things cool. We tend to travel with some food to make lunches for our daily road trips to save on time visiting monuments and such.

I have ALWAYS wanted to stay here. Did not disappoint. Beautiful hotel, clean, great location. Excellent breakfast and wonderful dinner.

    Parking was down the street.

    10SashaPosted on: 7-6-2025

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful place for breakfast.

    10WarrenPosted on: 7-2-2025

The room overlooked the ocean. When the tide came in, with the window open, you could hear the splashing against the sea wall.

    Not enough electrical outlets

    10LauraPosted on: 6-2-2025

The rooms were nicely renovated and the view to the beach was amazing and the location was perfect

    10MaryPosted on: 5-31-2025

Loved the location! Staff was very nice. This was the 6th time we have spent at the hotel. We would not return if it wasn't a classy hotel. Thank you Sylvie!

After a little hassle with the breakfast staff, our last breakfast was very good.

    9RebeccaPosted on: 5-26-2025

Can’t beat the location or the price. Window opens to the sound of the ocean

Room was smaller than expected but was totally fine for a night or two

    10ShelbyPosted on: 5-3-2025

The room was very spacious, clean, and up to date! We also had a view of the ocean which was beautiful. The staff were friendly and very welcoming! This hotel is the best! Would absolutely stay here again. It was also very close to restaurants and shops
