Our room was very clean. Staff was helpful, but front desk person did not speak English, so there was a language barrier.

Breakfast for 30 euros was disappointing.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. I liked the decor. It was comfortable. The location was great. The heat worked well. I wish the weather was warmer so I could enjoy the outdoor area. I like that there was a covered area to lock my bicycle. I would stay again.

Sweet little room, loved when we cam the windows were wide open and it was filled with fresh sea air. Comfortable room and easy walk to the seaside. Staff recommended a very good restaurant for dinner. Just remember to check times restaurant typically are not open late afternoon, there is definitely a dinner hour

The staff were friendly and supportive. When we felt hot, a fan was given to us to make us more comfortable. They were very nice. There was a convenient fridge in the room.

There were no insect screens on the windows. Every evening we were bitten by mosquitos. Also, water at the bottom of the shower door would bounce out onto the floor. The floor at the base of the shower would end up wet and you have to wipe the floor, wring the shower mat and hang to dry. The shower door needs a deflector at the bottom to avoid the water from bouncing out. Also, at night, someone was smoking downstairs so the smoke drifted into our room and we would have to close the window.

Staff was helpful. Rooms were modern and clean, beds were comfortable and made up each day. Breakfast was very good, but priced a little higher than we had experienced elsewhere on our trip. Hotel was only a couple of hundred meters from the main street of Arromanches-les-bains, its restaurants, museum, and Gold Beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This was our third visit to Arromanches-les-bains but our first stay in the Mountbatten. We would definitely stay there again.

Our rooms were on the first floor (second level) which can only be reached by a relatively steep external staircase. Carting our suitcases up and down that staircase was not an easy task.

Really liked staying here, even though we checked in late due to the traffic at Caen. Damien the host met us and was very welcoming. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathroom and room in general a very good size. I cannot say I disliked this property but just my observation, I would have liked a light in the little area where the shelves for clothes are, this would have made it lighter, especially when using the safe. Also would have liked a few more English speaking channels even if it was just the news. Maybe investing in sky or something similar.

Nice sized room, parking available although there is a charge…handy to walk down into Arromanches…very helpful gentleman on Reception, he carried our rather heavy case up the stairs for us.

Stayed for 4 nights, but bed only made once and bins emptied once…awful mat on the floor which kept curling up at the edges so a trip hazard,,,would have been a nice touch to have a couple of thick mats on each side of the bed.

Spacious room. Huge comfortable bed. Great bathroom. Shutters provided blackout for sleeping. Great coffee and tea making facilities. Good parking. And they allowed me to leave my motorcycle there whilst we went off sightseeing after checkout. Great location bars and restaurants nearby. Great little find.

Nothing it was great

Friendly staff, good choice at breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of shampoo etc. They also allowed me to leave my motorcycle parked when we had vacated the room while we finished our sightseeing

Helpful staff, central, bike friendly and good breakfast. Good size room with fridge and safe.

Couldn’t use the bedside plugs without an additional light coming on.

Damien was waiting for us on arrival & gave us a great welcome. Advised us the best place to park our bikes out of view and showed us to our accommodation which was perfect, even better than we imagined. Our apartment was clean with everything we needed & we made use of the patio area outside each night.The location was just right for our tour of the area and will very likely go and stay again for future trips.

It was basic but both clean, comfortable and convenient. The breakfasts were excellent and it proved a really good base for our DDay tourist activities.
