Old carpet. And no lift

Location is perfect, right by the beach and the museum. Restaurants and bars all very close. Managed to get one of the four parking spaces which was a bonus. Staff were all very busy but very nice and helpful.

We wanted to have a drink at 9.30 pm when we came back to the hotel and we were put in a function room on the first floor which could be amazing. However, it is in need of some TLC. We didn't want to sit on hard chairs with mattresses and boxes of glasses. A nice sofa by the window to look at the view would have been perfect. We appreciate a hotel of that age needs a lot of maintenance and must be a bottomless pit for money, but its a shame that room with the view could be a great attraction.

Restaurant had odd and inconsistent hours !! Friday close 9 pm when residents wanted a nightcap ? Sat night closed from 8/8:30

Super staff hotel is clean and cosy old but nice.

The location was excellent, the room was very comfortable.

The breakfast could have offered more choice including fruit.

Bathroom - mouldy ceilings and grouting

The hotel was a few paces from the sea front and the D-Day museum. It was a perfect location for visiting the British D-Day memorial and only a few miles from the ferry terminal.We were on the third floor so very quiet, being well above the street. There was plenty of choice at breakfast including cheeses and cooked meats. The restaurant had a fantastic choice of traditional French food at very reasonable prices.Amazing value.

There isn't a lift as it's an older building. There is no parking but a public paying car park behind the hotel, free between 1900h - 0700h.

Building a bit shabby and tired - as anticipated (as was reported by others) Needs to be updated. Room noisy from staircase.
