Best Western Hotel Vista

Despite an initial issue with the room key lock, the hotel staff handled the situation exceptionally well. They reacted quickly, tried to open the door, and then resolved the problem professionally. Even though we waited about 20 minutes, it didn’t feel like an inconvenience thanks to their attentive service. To make it right, we received a room upgrade and a drink voucher for the restaurant, which was a very nice touch. Overall, the staff’s professionalism turned a minor issue into a positive experience :-)

The room key lock is strange—unlike anything I’ve seen before—and the key card often fails to work.

After living/staying in this Hotel for 3 1/2 months in a row back in 2012, this whole experience was simply a trip down memory lane. A lot of things are still the same, a few new carpets here and there, comfy towels etc. Nice and professional staff at the Reception and in the Restaurant, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, nowadays of course Wi-Fi. Easy to get to from Ostrava-SVINOV (not hlavni nadrazi nowadays, due to construction work in the city centre)

The smell in the room is still the same like 2012, but this seems to be from the old, nowadays overpainted, walls of the former student dormitory turned four star Hotel. At least in the lowest room category still no A/C. Tricky door handling on the fourth floor.

The entire staff was really top class. Excellent buffet breakfast!

From the pictures I was expecting a much nicer room. Even though the building is nicely updated, you can still feel iron curtain times in there.

Location, big parking in front of the building, good breakfast with big variety of food)

It have been probably refurbished building from the hotel of residence: long, tangled corridors, a lot of passage ways, several elevators, you have to change and guess which one is correct one(Over-dry air in the room(

Great location for us and check-in was 24h and very easy and the room was really nice. Really good breakfast also so everything was just great.

Breakfast was normal, big variety of everything. Mini bar in the room full of beer and water.Haribo candies as complimentary. Good hotel for its money with outside parking (4euro) and early breakfast

The rooms and hotel itself are old. It looks like it was rebuilt from older hotel. To get to your room you have to use room card several times to open the door. For safety is good, for comfort not.

Breakfast, great place, easy to find, comfortable bed, clean.

I was attracted by the affordable parking and good reviews. The staff was friendly and ready to help. The room was warm, and the pillow was not lumpy. The breakfast offered a variety of food and drinks.

The price and quality did not match. I felt like I was staying in a dorm rather than a four-star hotel. The room was dirty, with dust on the floor, and the decor was quite outdated. The corridors had an unpleasant smell. The elevator system was absolutely ridiculous – I had to navigate a maze and complete a quest of multiple elevators and doors just to get to my room. It was hard to access the room since the keycards didn’t work well. The beds were quite narrow. The worst part began at night because the soundproofing in my room was nonexistent: I could hear every floorboard creak and the conversations and movements of all the neighbors in the long corridor. Sleeping in such conditions was very difficult. We also couldn’t connect to the internet.

Great big, cozy, spacious, and welcoming room with a good tv, great beds, and good lighting.Breakfast had a great many options.There is a game room which is a new and great addition.The location is very good, calm and serene.

It was better if the room was cleaned enough. Unfortunately, dead moth was under the desk and I felt uncomfortable. The reception was ringing phone call, but the staff did not try to answer. If I were the caller, I should be stressful.

Comfortable and clean room, amazing breakfast, very safe and convenient parking.

It is a bit far from the city centre, but if you don't plan to go there, location is great and close to the highway.
