Hotel Corrado

The location was ok, the breakfast was ok, staff was ok.

The room was not as we expected specially the shower we could not have one as it was not comfort to have one as the water takes a lot to be hot. We would preferred to were a way to control the temperature of the room.

There was a huge glass encased room near the entrance with motorcycles - the owner is obviously a collector.

For the facilities, this was overpriced. Well outside the old town. The toilet and shower were extremely cramped - the smallest I've seen.

Nice option for a city break in Ostrava. Outside: old-fashioned building at a busy street. Inside: motorbikes, riffles, stuffed animals and stylish though little bit worn-out furniture. Quite silent and comfortably room with a microscopic private bathroom. Everything was working perfectly. The facility was very clean and the staff helpful. Abundant, though rather monotonic breakfasts served at the table on previously scheduled time. Within walking distance to-from most of objects of interest: old town: 15 minutes, railway station, DOV (half an hour), zoological garden (45 minutes). Ostrava is nice for walking

This place is great, it has it's own bike museum when you arrive. Be sure to check out the old German transporter in the garden ;-)Although it's on the side of an express road, it's only 15 minutes walk to the main square in the city. The bedding was impressive , really ! The shower was functional, the staff were discrete and helpful.The menu at the restaurant is good, hearty food.

Windows... the breakfast room doesn't have any natural lighting

The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to leave very early, so they made us breakfast to go and called a taxi for us.

The bathroom was rather small and you had to go up a few steps to enter it. It wasn’t a problem for us, but if someone is disabled, this can be problematic.

The hotel was amazing. Hotel's main hall is fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have shooting range in hotel, nice.

Noisy, a lot of vehicles passing through. Very hot and no fresh air. No airconditioning. Towels smell bad. The temperature of shower water jumps from hot to cold.

Interesting interior in the hotel, free parking, delicious breakfast.

There was no kettle. It was a little hard to breathe in the room without an opened window.

The staff was helpful and friendly. We also liked the breakfast, which was modest but still very nice to have. The WiFi was okay. The beds were fine. The room was clean. The price was still fair, albeit you have to consider whether you will go for it despite the negatives.

In case you are thinking about staying here, you have to prepare for a rather shocking/surprising arrival - the building itself is already a bit old and shabby. The same applies to its interior, which is even combined with some random things like a motorcycle museum or unusable arcade game machines. You can also smell the motor oil in the corridors or the 'oldness' of the furniture in your room. Our room was also not very well equipped, meaning we had to put our clothes on the chairs or sofa since there was no proper wardrobe. Moreover, you have to count with a bit of noise from the main road, which is close to the hotel.

Stairs , if you have lot of luggage ,it will be bit of effort to reach room upstairs :){Although , you will get support from hotel staff}

you can arrive 24/7, staff is amazing (e.g. cooking pommesfrites at midnight for us), vintage motorcycles in hotel = real museum, as well another vintage hotel equipment

That's a perfect place for those who are tired of "all the same" hotels. This place is very strange and that's why unique. I loved it as it is like form some movie and even e little bit scary. But its safe, friendly and very local. So I loved it. But if you are looking for some standard hotel, then avoid it. This place is only good for non traditional places lovers.

Very clean room, it was easy to find and even get into the hotel in the middle of the night, good breakfast.

It was not possible to open the window, because there is a highway = noise and bad air. Very little bathroom, good for tiny people :-)

Particular hotel but nice staff, clean, just taxi generally go to the wrong entrance so there is the need to go the main street.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and located near historic center of the city. Stylish and atmospheric old-fashioned hotel. There’s a free parking on-site.

No water from tap, only in shower. To BOOKING.com - I was booking for 4 persons (2 adults and 2 child.) as you can see from request, but it was booked for 3 persons... It was extremally inconvenient and disturbing at the location with staff... :(

We stayed at Corrado and for the fun of it we have specificaly chosen the deluxe tripple room with hot tub in the living room area. The tub did not work and we were not notified in advance. we would not have chosen this more expensive room with a hot tub in this condition. all the equipment was also really old and used, the beds were short and there were various smudges on the walls. Unfortunately, the hotel feels that it is not taken care of.
