The staff were very nice people. They tried to help but could not override the management.

I wrote a careful narrative expressing my need for a quiet room after days of exhausting travel. They wrote back saying my wish was granted. When I arrived, the manager gave me a suite instead of a regular room. This was a surprise to me. But when I walked in and unpacked, it was clear this was the worst room in the hotel. The beds are on the wall of an elevator shaft that bangs every time it is used. I moved to the sofa and you could still hear the banging and a high pitch whistle. I tried to get the staff to change the room but they said they were full. At midnight, after no sleep, I complained again, calling the manager. He did nothing and said no one had ever complained before. A total impossibility. Even staff acknowledged the room was difficult. No Refund. No apologies. If you have a problem here, prepare to be blamed for it rather than getting help with a resolution. POOR Management. Avoid.

Rating of 9 is for value. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Excellent hot breakfast including eggs. It is about a 14 minute walk from the train station which is shorter than the vast majority of Ostrava hotels, which center more south toward the Danube. Staff had good restaurant recommendation, worth the 22 minute walk to the south. The in-room folio says checkout is 12:00pm but hotel policy has changed and it is now 11:00am.

Location of this hotel is excellent with tram stop few metes away and not far from central Ostrava. Ostrava train station is also within walking distance. WiFi is good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok. Rooms are very clean.

Horrible bed , creaked till morning , also got aching back in the morning , something not right with heating as you needed to keep pressing its button etc..

The hotel is ok and does not meet my expectations. Rooms were cold, and I had to ask staff to on the heating system. Breakfast was average. I dont say that the hotel is valuable for money. They should charge less OR up the service and all other level to the level of charges what they are asking.

The location is not far from the center and the Fabrika club. Free parking behind the hotel. Very comfortable firm bed. Delicious breakfast

Basically: Quick check-in, friendly staff, room is average but beds very comfy, so the room fulfilled my basic needs before going to business meetings the other day.

The room was a bit old-fashioned, the bathroom door was stuck and for some reasons they placed the fridge on top (!) of the desk, so before working, I was required to put away the fridge. There was a phone in the room, but with cut-off wires - why don't you put it away? Lighting wasn't very comfy too. Breakfast coffee wasn't tasty either.

I choose this hotel mainly on the strength of it supposedly, according to the advert and pictures, having a restaurant. I even cancelled my first hotel option because it did not.have a restaurant and because I arrived over and for Christmas the entire city was closed for three days i.e. no restaurants open.So imagine my dissatisfaction at hearing the hotel restaurant was shut,not just over Christmas but has been for a long long time ( I've read in comments from last year)So my Christmas eve and Christmas day ,.apart from the provided breakfast,had zero to eat .Absolutely disgusting behaviour. False information about amenities. I also understand the so called spa area was not available Thanks for ruining my Christmas!! And change your advertisement here. You DO NOT have a restaurant.

Furniture is quite old but not critical.

Breakfast was a very good hot and cold buffet served from 07:00 Mon-Fri and 08:00 at weekends. My room was comfortable, well furnished and adequate in terms of space.

There was nothing with which I was dissatisfied.

a well located hotel, close to the center (both on foot and by tram - two stops away). Friendly staff, quite rich breakfast, good wi-fi, free and protected parking, quiet (if you get the room in the back, otherwise you can hear the tram).

The standard room is quite small and the shower in the bathroom leaked water outside. The bathroom door closes very hard and you can touch your hand painfully. I had to leave a day early, but I didn't get anything back, even though they had a free room since 11.30 (I announced the day before, I'd settle for half price, but they said no).
